My Mrs got one for the services to her department at work, she takes on such much in her life its quite unbelievable.
It's a shock that she was put forward by her bosses but they obviously saw what a credit she is.
Can't wait to go to the palace.

Congratulations mate that is fantastic news. I`m glad SH got one but the ones that mean far more are the ones given to the general public in recognition of how valueable they are deemed by their bosses. Really well done Mrs LAHAD.

Agreed simon, the system is obviously corrupt thou because unless you are manager of ManU, you have no chance of getting the big gong for winning the European/CL cup

Or the entire England Rugby squad. The whole system can be summed up by one man. Sir Allen Stanford.
Well done Stuart Hall though. Along with Murray Walker he is my favourite brodcaster of all time. A national institution.

As the palace ain't far away I'm going to wait outside with a banner ... don't forget to PM me the date Bingo.
Incidentally, my Stuart Hall fact for the day is that he was the man that coined the phrase "the beautiful game"

But he was talking about Belgians dressed as giant playing cards hurdling a paddling pool full of oversized sponge shapes.
