Three Years?

Mancini, before today's game, again stated that even with all the money in the world it takes three years to build a title winning side from a mid-table side - which means he's talking about next season rather than this. The problem, as I see it, is that it could be a self fulfilling prophecy. As well as a few lazy arses, It also gives Roberto a bit of a "Get Out of Prison Free" card if all should crumble this month.

I can't be alone in being sometimes nonplussed by Mancini's comments to the media?

The question I raise now is this - are our second eleven (which is really something like a second five, plus "whoever") really as good as we were thinking when we were thrashing teams earlier in the season? Today, and in a variety of performances recently, plus in the Champions League, strongly suggests not.

I was thinking that we had just about weeded out all the mercenaries, but when I see the attitude of some players I think Mancini still has some way to go. Quite simply, we had upwards of four players involved today who clearly aren't good enough technically , or aren't good enough because they couldn't give a fuck.

You know who I mean.

Kolarov is not cut out to be a footballer, let alone a premier league one. I'd quite happily drive the cunt to any other club in the world.

Aside from that I think that the players we have all have their plus points. De Jong can never be accused of lacking heart but something in the background appears to be causing issues there - aside from the fact that I think the team's style of play has left him behind somewhat. Johnson is a good sub, but we have known for 2 years he cannot contribute to a full game. Dzeko I think is a confidence player, and with rotation we have he is never going to build that confidence because he will never be our no1 goto man.

We created 19 chances today, and on another day could easily have won 4.0

Just a bad day at the office.....however if it turns into a bad week at the office and we struggle badly at home on Tuesday, I think a few on here will be on suicide watch.

My appointment at the doctor's is already booked.

Cancel-able, of course, in the event of a great win on Tuesday!

Very well put, by the way.

Compared to any club in the country, possibly even in Europe, our squad pisses on everyone. We don't really have a second 11 but if you want and we did then it would piss on their teams second 11's as well .... I certainly ain't a happy clapper (far from it actually) but this tendancy of some of our fans to put the club down as soon as the wind changes really pisses me of lately. Yeah 3 year, just remember where we were 3 years ago

nearly bust....rumours of administration, insolvency, etc...whatever the terms are/were.

I love the club, and i think it's people have a go at PLAYERS for not playing for the club. That's all i've read about all day. That's fair, isn't it?

cheers
