Micah Richards Song

Sounded like it was growing in momentum against Liverpool, hopefully it will get a full and loud airing in a few games time once people learn the words

Ohhhhhhhh Micah Richards
He's a full back
And a Blue (or "He's a blue" depending on who you stand next to)
He looks like Balotelli,
but he doesn't wear a hat.
He doesn't play for England,
Cause Capello is a twat.

ohhhhhhhh Micah Richards..................................

or one for the weekend

Blue mooooon
We started singing too soon,
We thought we'd beat you 3-1
But scored in time added on

Blue mooooon
We started singing too soon,
We thought we'd beat you 4-1
But scored in time added on

Blue mooooon
We started singing too soon,
We thought we'd beat you 5-1
But scored in time added on

Blue mooooon
Were we singing too soon?
We went and beat you 6-1
now your title has gone!

HA HA See, its down to interpretation, but as long as BLUE is pronounced it wont matter too much ;-D

Is the theme song to Pippi Longstocking well known in the UK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYFnBBAm6eU)
I heard the Borussia fans sing to that melody when I was in Dortmund, and thought that it would be quite easy to make a catchy City song from. Something like:

Here's Manchester City
The impeccable Man City
Here's Manchester City
cos Manchester is Blue

Cos we're Manchester City
The best team in the land and world
Cos we're Manchster City
The best team in the world

Have you seen Dave Silva
de Jong, Joe Hart and James Milner
Ko-olo and Yaya
and of course our Mario

Cos we're Manchester City
The best team in the land and world
Cos we're Manchster City
The best team in the World

Here is Micah Richards
Edin Dzeko, Vince and Clichy
Johno, Kun and Lescott
and Zabaleta hard as nails

Repeat chorus again and add more verses about the rest of the players.

From where I was sat it sounded like 'a fucking blue' but your version sounds more realistic. Oops

These songs seem to be coming on nice. The only thing I'd say is that we need to sing the Balo/Micah songs a little slower when they kick in. The tempo is a little fast for people to keep-up and all those around me just mumble. It's been done slower on a couple of occassions and it sounded mint.

I know these things, I used to play the trombone and also played Oliver in the school play.

Consider yourself, at home ........

There's a guy sat behind me who gets the words to EVERY fucking song wrong EVERY week.

Not just singing a different variation e.g a blue / proper blue. Just completely wrong.

Don't get me started on football chant tempos. Drives me mad. When we used to sing 'hello, hello, city are back, city are back' it was unreal. The tempo was about 750bpm or something. The Oasis song is drawn out and sang relatively slowly but we sing it so fast - it sounds shit.

Which Oasis song? Am I being thick?

Oh, and the Micah song is definitely, 'a proper Blue'.

Can all our songs be the same tune...

Oh, Gareth Barry,
He's suspended, but never mind,
He's never played for Wales, he's been English all his life,
If he lived a tad bit nearer,
Ryan Giggs would shag his wife
Oh, Gareth Barry....

Ahahaha, I'm defo into the Balo/Micah and now GazBaz songs. It is a great tune, though singing too many songs that are too similar would wear out the novelty. For now though, it is funny. Keep it up!

I was of the opinion that one of you two made that up? I'm sure one of you laid claim to it...

Anyway, back to this Oasis song, what are the rest of the lyrics, in terms of it as a City song?
