Don't forget that Spurs lost 37 games in a row before Redknob worked out that Gareth Bale wasn't a left back. Hope our lot work it out a bit quicker than that!

Wide left in a 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 is his best position.

We´d woundn´t have conceded 2 of those goals had Clichy played. Ah well can´t have everything - relieved to have one comp less tbh.

Sadly true. Mancini's biggest fuck-up today.

He didn't play well but was left exposed so many times, even when we had 11 players on the pitch.

He's not a footballer.

It seems unlikely that we would get an offer from anyone to take him. I'll admit Clichy fails to bloke a fair few crosses but he would have bloked the first, and he wouldn't have brought whichever rag it was for the penalty.

I think the key for Kolorov is he can only get up or down, whereas Clichy can do both, or either, or all!

Problem is hes not a midfielder either. Think he played there against villa last season in the cup an was poor. Hes not good enough for me, dead ball specialist yes, a top footballer unfortunately not. Clichy is miles ahead of him

But the problem is I don't think he's been good when he has played there. If he had a bit of pace he's be a cracking winger.

Would have played Clichy today, only thing Mancini got wrong in my opinion.

Exactly right. He's too poor defensively to be a left back and can't beat a man due to lack of pace and dribbling ability which rules him out as a winger. I really don't see what he has to offer a team apart from his free kicks which isn't enough to justify handing him a place in the first XI

Heart sank when I saw he was playing, especially against a team with wingers. Didn't help that his cover from Nasri was non-existent but the rags had clearly worked out where the weak link was and kept overloading that side. Don't think he made a tackle all game

Think Bob wanted to give him one last go but learned nothing as he was wank first half but immeasurably better 2nd. Zab should have played if Clichy needed resting and maybe Kola should have been moved to left mid. Too late now it´s all hypothetical. Cannot make that mistake again though in the big games remaining
