Who would you have between the sticks for the CC semi finals, both legs.
For me we have to stick with Pantilimon all the way to the final, regardless of first leg result. Only way we should not play him is if he gets injured or makes a massive mistake in both legs of the semi final.
One mistake in one of the SF legs he should stick with him rather than losing confidence.
If we win it, and he is picked all the way to the final, he might be more inclined to stay as a second keeper if he's won a medal and kept with for cup competitions.
Not sure how to create a poll, sorry!

That would be a bold decision by Mancini. Lots of people raising eye brows at Pantytampons Derby performance.
I kind of like the idea though.

We are out of the FA Cup.
The Carling Cup is now at the semi-final stage and we are playing the strongest other team left in the competition.
This demands that we play our strongest possible team, especially given we are down 2 centre-halfs including our captain, our kingpin centre midfielder in Ya Ya, and probably our best player in Silva.
Hart must be selected. End of.

Keeping Pants will be normal, it was his competition so far and i might add, this double can be decisive for him. He had before coming here a lot of problems with the crosses and he will face a team that is expert on doing that, Downing (if he plays after the arrest incident) is a good provider of high balls, so imho this can be a real test for Lemmons to prove that he can stay here.

Ankle injury on sunday, very unlikely to play tomorrow.

Was this the reason that Panti got the call for the FA Cup knowing that Joe would be called up for the semi?

It should be Hart really. Panty did nowt wrong on Sunday and no keeper would have saved the first 2 goals but I think that there is a real possibility that Mancini will be left with a patched up back 4 if Vinny doesn't get his ban rescinded so we need the authorative and more experienced keeper, Hart. That and Joe is absolute class.

says who??
I'd say that his sub was purely tactical and I've seen nothing to make me think otherwise other than this nonsense on f365 which just seems like total conjecture based on nothing
"In addition, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli are both major doubts, along with star midfielder David Silva, who was replaced at half-time on Sunday."

Agree with you Ant. Mancini took off Silva at ht with Wednesday in mind and gave Nasri an opportunity to play properly. Sadly Nasri's performance continued to be non-existent and so he shouldn't be that tired for tomorrow night when he is warming the bench and David Silva is pulling the strings for us on the pitch.

OK, Stuart Brennan (MEN) on Twitter
"I'm told Silva has a chance of playing tomorrow, so rumours about broken ankle appear to be wide of the mark"

Nice credit to Mancini but Silva clearly had an ankle knock in the first half and was withdrawn mainly due to that.

Really hope he'll play Joe but something tells me he will stick to his guns and keep Panty as his Cup-Keeper.
We need a really solid performance tomorrow from whoever it is.

Agree. We need to play Hart in the latter stages of ANY cup Inc Europa.
I actually think that Mancini has sweetened Panty by starting him in the derby after probably telling him that Joe will start the Bin Dippers games. Harsh on Panty but we want our best players out there!

For me it's simple. Hart starts on wednesday.
Panti can have the second game in Liverpool if we can get a good score on wednesday. If we reach the Final, we should
let Panti start the game and Hart finish it. So both get some enjoyment out of it.
Let's face it , getting to the final, means a lesser opponent and this is a way some of the players on the peripherie can
get some satisfaction on the run in to the title.
