Just looked at that and clicked Foy the Fucker's Wiki & it states he has declared himself an Everton and will not referee their games.

Foy=Everon=Ronney=Kompany Red Card #conspiracy theory.

Just sayin

This is tongue in cheek, yes? If not, there's some seriously messed up thinking here. How about "the Americans planned 9/11 to detract attention from how Hollywood staged the Apollo moon landings after Nixon ordered the death of both Kennedys?" Your Foy conspiracy is only slightly less daft.

From his Wikipage -

Mason and his assistant referees came under criticism from Manchester United management in December 2010 for allowing a last-minute equaliser scored by Birmingham City to stand. A Birmingham cross into United's penalty area appeared to hit Nikola Žigić's arm and Lee Bowyer slid the ball home despite appearing to be offside.

Mason suffered a one-week demotion to the role of fourth official after his refereeing of a match between Fulham and Liverpool in which he sent off Liverpool players Jamie Carragher and Philipp Degen; Fulham ultimately won the fixture 3–1.[7]

Are we going to draw any theories from this?

He doesnt like United, or liverpool.

8-0 City then, surely.

he was thoroughly chastised for allowing united and liverpool to drop points. The lesson from this is clear, protect united and liverpool or you will be demoted. Means that he will not give anything controversial against united or liverpool.

Wasn't Mason the ref v west brom?.

If so then he had a fucking shocker, disallowed goal, completely ignored balo getting hit in the head (straight red, in the same week a Wigan player was sent off at the swamp for a much less obvious and far less aggressive raised arm). A handball given against Barry that baffled EVERYONE else just outside the area when he had 3 options to play the ball into the area (kun, balo, dave).

Also I think he booked de Jong very early for an innocuous challenge pretty much taking him out of the game. This one I'm not sure off, it may have been a different game.

I think you are spot on mate and the handball against Barry was fuckin laughable it hit him in his belly.

Not happy with this bald, rotund, little Bolton gobshite.

Hope I am wrong about him. I'd much rather be able to talk about the ref after the match because he got everything right.

It would have to be some performance to beat the last two we have had at home. They were the two worst refereeing performances I have seen for years, and I can't believe we were so unlucky to have got two together - surely we can't get 3 in a row?

I thought he was very good. If all the refs had the same sensibilities as this guy we'd all be happy. So many petty incidents and 50-50's I expected were going to end up with cards or free kicks but he let it go.

If Foy had of reffed the same way on the weekend we would have been happy.

I'll go along with that Dazby. Thats the thing that winds everyone up thou the refs are miles apart in their interpretation of the game

But he didn`t and foy set a precident in a big game that should be carried forward cos our appeal failed before this game and johnson should`ve walked on the back of it and he didn`t.

I have to say he did very well he let the game flow and more importantly he was'nt influenced by any player complaining.
