Can't belive this was actually news on the Guardian website, but it seems that there flying two feet first into every oppourtunity to slate city at the moment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaNDKK_HGxYSamir Nasri was berated by Liverpool fans while driving home after Manchester City's Carling Cup semi-final first leg defeat.
In footage filmed by the fans, which contains strong language, they pull up alongside Nasri's car and convince him to wind down his window, before goading him about their 1-0 victory, and criticising his decision to leave Arsenal.
After being told "You've got a better chance of winning the Champions League with Arsenal than you have with Man City," Nasri responds by telling them "I am top of the league," then speeding away.
City put in a laboured performance against Liverpool, whose goal came from a first-half Steven Gerrard penalty.
If someone could put this on properly I would appreciate it, can't seem to do it myself

Sounds like a couple of cockney liverpool fans saying he should have stayed with arsenal.
They sound quite retarded and excited.

If Liverpool fans are happy that their team is rapidly turning in to a mediocre bunch of talentless scum, then that's fine by me. Samir dealt with that in the best possible way, 'Top of the league'.
Maybe this will bring the real Nasri out on the pitch though? So far he's gone missing far too much. And I don't think you can blame that on being with new players. The players he is with are quality. Surely that would spur you on? He's shown he's a quality player he just needs to pull his socks up...all the way up!

Henderson £20 Million, Andy Carroll £35 Million, Downing £18 Million.
£73 Million spent on three of the most average players the Premiership has ever seen.

Feel pretty sorry for our Samir. Seems like the lost soul of the team.
Typical scousers showing their impeccable behaviour once more.

Scouse wit is a myth. Anything is bound to sound amusing when said with such a strangled, whiny dialect as Scouse has become. Even before Liverpool accents became a parody of what they used to be, a quick look at famous Scouse comedians leaves you concluding that Liverpudlians are just really unfunny and overly sentimental.
Apart from Alexie Sayle in the 1980s.

Dont forget that legendary wag Jimmy Tarbuck. There's no beginning to his talents.

The fans on that video aren't scousers, isn't a brummie and a cockney accent?!
To be fair, I reckon they were Arsenal fans - they have to be, when they start saying daft things like 'Arsenal have got a better chance of winning the Champions Lge than City'. Yes Arsenal are still in it and we aint, but they are not going to win it or even threaten to.

I like Bishop, though.
Anyway, the fans thought they were being clever, but all Nasri had to say was "top of the league" and that was it. They had no rebuttal. "Top of the league" "va-va-vroom"

Presumably Nasri lives somewhere in the Greater Manchester/Cheshire area, so I would have thought his chances of randomly encoutering Brummy Arsenal fans on his way home were minimal.
Anoither great scouse wit: cross dressing 'laugh a decade', wish he was dead, scouse 'entertainer' Paul O Grady (aka Lilly Savage).

I've said on here many times, many Liverpool fans despised us when we were last challenging them in the 70's. Just because they currently hate the rags more, some City fans think we are some kind of kindred spirits. We are not. We will be hated by most of them just like the rags in the future. They are gradually building up a series of imagined faults, in order to give them a valid reason, other than just jealousy.

Sami had the perfect response "I am top of the league" the only fact no one can refute.

Now you're talking, Ted! The man has maybe the creepiest, most slimy voice I've ever heard. I think it's on Sunday's that he has a really awful show on Radio 2. They love giving weekend airtime to really strange and unsuitable people.
