Poor Savic had a fair game yesterday but for one mishap with the header for Defoes goal.

I know it would please Carl to see Lescott rested. At the moment Joleon is clearly not the organiser in the defense. Well certainly not like Vinnie. I think Stefan would benefit from having Vinnie around .

The one in the first half where he jumped above a Spurs shortarse & headed the ball down perfectly to a charging Bale, like andy Carroll would dream of doing, ending up with Lescott having to take a card in order to stop full tilt Bale fucking off into our box, doesn't count ? Imo it was far worse as he had full control of the header & was almost as dangerous as his assist.

To be fair they can't prove intent with Balotelli, the circumstances should see him getting let off, I.e. Scoddy was behind him, and Mario in the air, landing. Joleon might just be deemed as dangerous play, whether intended to injure or not.
