Joe Hart

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Joe Hart

Postby Kyle » Wed Jan 25, 2012 11:34 pm

Despite all the negativity this evening (I am pissed as well), Joe Hart deserves a thread. He played absolutely fantastic again, and there is not a keeper in the world I would rather have.

Is there a better keeper out there than Hart?

I fuclin hate the term 'world class' but I'd consider using it in a sentence with Joe Hart ... oh I just did.

Made some fantastic saves tonight. However, also had a flap at a cross and spilt several shots. Strange game, but he is still improving. A very good keeper at the moment and could be the best in the world in a couple of years. Also nice that he cost so little in the first place.

He's had some truly great moments this season. He's not best in the world yet but he's not far away.

Neither Frank Swift nor Bert Trautmann were legends at a similar stage of their careers. Joe has many years left between the posts. Barring injury, there is every reason to believe that we are now seeing the beginings of probably our greatest goalkeeper.

....and a major part of the best City team in our history....despite all the tantrums by some on here and all the slagging off and over emotional crap that some players get on here....City have never had a team that has got anywhere near to equalling this present team's League record so far this season.

YOU LUCKY PEOPLE.

I wouldn't swap him for anyone and he was top notch last night, however his best save of the evening was as a result of him badly palming a ball away that he could of easily caught.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. I love watching the giddy Joe Hart look over the media's shoulder for the starting line-ups on the tunnel cam. Joe Hart is a legend.
