this can't be true, can it?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

this can't be true, can it?

Postby everyonehatesus » Sun Jan 29, 2012 9:27 am

I dont tend to make new threads, infact I dont make that many posts full stop. I had a rag mate texting me last night, he was going on about a thread over on cafetards. It seems Liverpool made an attempt to swop Carol for Polly, not even these thick fuckers could believe that would even stand a chance of going through. I did look for this on here but couldn't find it anywhere, sorry if already posted but it just made me chuckle and had to share.

Strange thing is it seems it must be true but at what level? Somebody at LPool will have mentioned it ro someone at City( Marwood?) and I expect would have been laughed at.

Who would have made it public though?

Carol will react one of two ways, either fuck um aproach or "i'll show the wankers". Im sure his agent has had some work to do because of this, but he's not the first big transfer fee to go wrong and he will be followed by many more too.

I'm sure this is amusing enough to deserve it's own thread! Desperate move from the Scousers if true and rather amusing too!

thats just it, what a moment of madness, everyone one knows what a prick he has been. All the time claiming he hates it in the north of England and how he wish's to be by his family, what did the bindippers think would come from this. The message this sends out to Carol, and the owners for the way their money has been spent. Its a joke of a move, what a bunch of dicks.

Well if Liverpool were going to swap Carroll for Tevez, they would have to find out if Tevez was up for it, so they'd speak to his 'advisor'. Now, once again, our reputation is being questioned because of that little shit.

Absolutely.

However, on a slightly different tack, I wonder what the outcome would be if Scouse1 were to offer Carroll for Adebayor, instead.

Would Bobby Manc see enough in Carroll to feel he could successfully integrate him into our style of play, without us having to become a long ball outfit ??

Just musing, but I did wonder.

As a footballer absolutely. If City signed Suarez however, I would have to sneak up on him in the dark & damage him.

I'd rather release Tevez on a free than swap him for Carrol. Don't want that pathetic excuse of a football player anywhere near City's team.

That would be the most ridiculous swap the last decade and how much Liverpool paid for Carol ?

Carroll couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo at the moment. Herman even in his current state of fitness would score more.
