Police reffing Tottenham games...

Postby Goataldo » Mon Jan 30, 2012 8:20 pm

Was anyone aware that Foy and Webb, the last two officials to take charge of a Tottingham game, are both policemen!?

Coincidence?!?

A mate of mine made me aware of it, he got it from this quite interesting blog:

Haha, I can. Still, you know what they say, if you reach just one person.......

Although one of my 'mates' on here (who shall remain nameless) had the temerity to text his disapproval. Texting my phone about an online thread. Honestly. Who does that?!? *shakes head*

Many thanks Goat Boy for posting that link and introducing me to what is compulsive reading, as good Chinners Bollox and that dodgy old bloke's training reports....:-) Did yer Mum ever get her kitchen steps back?

For those who haven't paddled into this blog, you are truly missing out. For those conspiracy theorists, he gives you chapter, verse, names and dates, more than enough to allow you to make an extremely cohesive argument about football corruption, refs and rags.

For those who pooh pooh the very thought that football is in anyway, shape, manner or form less pure than the Pope's drinking water (or urine)...I challenge you to read this stuff and not close the tab without thinking..."He just might have a point."

The latest piece on last night's referee, refereeing and what has gone on since Shinawatra and the rag's recent (B'burn/N'Castle) crisis is most enlightening.

I will not give any secrets out as to the contents, on the grounds of respect to the blogger, who has done his homework, some excellent research and has written his pieces with erudition far supassing anything I could compete with.

Goatie Boy...I owe you a pint for this mate....please remind me next time we meet in the Townley. You wont get it mate but the look of disappointment on your face will cheer me up. Think of it as "Bullseye moment"...This is what you could have won.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

Foy stitched Spurs up good and "proppah" against Stoke, so I'm not at all surprised to learn he is Filth.

TBH, I am amazed that nobody has visited that blog and raised some of the issues on here.

I have spent quite alot of time recently looking at the polical/financial/power issues that surround football, globally but particularly in Europe that could directly affect City in the near future and some of the stuff I have come accross is quite scary.
In 2006, the total income of the global game was over $500Bn, God knows what that figure is now, with 75% being generated by European clubs.
That is serious cash and tonight I hear calls for Platini (now little more than an unwilling G14 puppet) is being touted to replace Blatter (as I predicted last week). Rumminigge must be a shoe in to fill the UeFA post and voila...through their representation on various FIFA committees and a puppet they can manouvre...The G14 have control of global footie and access to the biggest trough in sport.
When added to this guys global betting/match fixing/corrupt refereeing,...FUCK ME MATE....IT'LL TAKE ONE HELL OF A BRUSH TO SWEEP THAT AMOUNT OF SHIT UP..

Thanks again for the heads up on that site...it's like having a new shovel to go digging around with.
