Fuck the deadline, we have a game tonight.
Neverton remain without the injured Phil Jagielka, Sylvain Distin, Seamus Coleman, Jack Rodwell and Leon Osman. Ross Barkley played for the under-18s at the weekend but is still recovering from a knee problem.
Neverton need to improve their league form, having won just one of the last six they've played in the top flight. Strangely for David Moyes' side, winning at home has proved especially difficult this season, with only three Goodison Park successes (against Wigan, Wolves and Swansea).
Manchester City welcome back captain Vincent Kompany from suspension, but Mario Balotelli still has three games of a four-match ban to serve.
Brothers Yaya and Kolo Toure remain on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations.
from bbc.
City: JH
MR VK JL GC
GB JM
SN DS
SA
ED
0:1 would be just fine.
Come the fuck on City!!!

3 points tonight would be an enormous step toward the title imo.
The rags are going to drop points here and there, as are we. This is one of the games where the rags need us to drop points if they are to win it.

agreed. I have a horrible feeling about tonight but I really shouldn't. It's bloody Everton, we're superior team and if we perform we should come away with three points.
so come on City! let's put in a proper shift tonight and take all three points under gollums nose!

I have a GOOD feeling about tonight. All those crappy years coming home to roost, as well as 2 unjust cup exits. I think we'll mullah them.

Imo only a gutless display from Phil Dowd lost us the points last year. One of the worst examples of a ref caving in to the crowd I've ever seen, giving them an unstoppable wave of free kicks around our penalty area & stopping all our attacks. My biggest worry tonight is once again the ref.

They are shite. If Saha leaves tonight, even weaker. We managed a win with Robinho and Superman goals few seasons back, no reason why not take 3 pts tonight.
Buuuuuuut....

If that Beeb team is accurate, I am as confident as I have been in a long time against Everton. Hate them. Always horibble, from team to manager to fans to where they play. Gonna be a tough game and playing football will not be too high on their agenda.
Desperate for three points and don't care how we get em. No more suspensions please!

i have said all along that this game is the one that if we win it we'll win the title not because its 3 points but it is a bogey team we have to put at rest. if we perform like i know we can then 3 points will be ours.
Also rags play stoke and the way they bombard the penalty box de-shite will be flappin in the wind hopefully!!!

we have to have to much for Everton tonight we simply just have to, im trying to find somewhere to watch the game later as im still if france. Winning tonight is a massive step for the team and will, as others have said be one of the few games left that the scum would look at for us to drop points. Win tonight and we get through what everyone was saying would be the month we would slip up, still at the top and with a clear gap. It looks to be another battle in the middle and we need to keep the presure on their back four. If we stay tight at the back ourselves they simply shouldn't be able to create anything to trouble us, but as we know this lot love playing us for what ever reason. Its time to brake another jinx team, so im going 2-0 to City.
Im just looking at flights home as ive got 2 tickets for saturday now, get the fuck in.

Isn't Peter Walton on tonight? Cue endless Everton fouls without even a free kick, and the first Everton player to fall over will earn Barry a red card.

Exactly. Everton & Liverpool hardly ever lose when Walton is the ref.

We need to win games like this, don't care how. Kompany's return should be massive for us.

Never realised how much i hated Everton until recently.
Especially that frog-eyed cunt, Moyes.
3 points would be massive tonight. MASSIVE.
Always think this is the hardest match we play outside of the 'top teams'.
Keep Micah and Clichy out wide, Zab and Kol away from the team, VK AND JL back together and you can do whatever you want with the rest, we have the quality throughout.
Like the idea of James and Gazbaz in the middle.
COME ON CITY!

This is a bread and butter game and if you want to finish as Champions, these are the games thatyou have to get the points from.
No slip ups tonight...Don't care how we get em.....3pts MUST be got.
Can't see Pullis allowing the rags to fail tonight.

I'm very confident about tonight. Scouse 2 are struggling in defense and midfield. Patience is needed but I think Edin and Sergio will come good for us tonight.
My only worry is that Fellaini starts doing his usual dirty stuff. Can't stand the man not one bit. He can play football but is always fouling , elbowing , shoving.
Re Transfer Talk : I can't help thinking that Jelavic will fail his medical ! Well Scouse 2 really are skint.
