Simply not good enough.

It was not a foul on him, if that was Drogba, or Torres (in his prime) they would have retained the ball and shrugged the defender off - Dzeko was down like a sack of spuds.
It's better to regret something you did than something you didn't.

Today he was a walking disaster. Don't like getting on the back off City players but at least he could've tried to be a running disaster.
Very disapointed, We should've won this.

Looking at replay of the goal, from the angle behind the goal. The lazy mardarse pussy is still sat on his arse when Gibson scores. Never want to see the sulking cunt again

We've got to remember it's his first full season in the Prem. He started off so brilliant, which is why I think a lot of people get on his back because they know what he's capable of.
The thing that pissed me off tonight were giving the ball away and shooting from stupidly far out, watching it balloon over and then having a laugh with an Everton player.

Tonight there were plenty of shit houses on the field wearing a City shirt though.

Absolute rubbish tonight. By far our worst player tonight. If we can't sell him we should give him away.

He's too soft, too slow and his first touch is too shit to make it as a consistent quality striker in the Premiership. Bad signing and he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned

He may be soft, slow and have a poor first touch except inside the box but he has strengths...unfortunately his biggest weakness is his decision making - he almost always refuses to pass the ball. He will either try an outrageous shot, attempt to embarrass the defender with a dribble or try to win a foul and that is what lead to the goal.

I am still convinced that he is one of the best poachers out there, but his confidence is so low. He isn't fit for this rotation system that we have and this is his main problem. At Wolfsburg he played almost every game alongside Grafite. If he can figure out how to solve this he can be the best striker in the league, if not, we will go.

for a big man like him he rarely outjumps a defender, he hits the deck from the slightest touch and wont get up quickly

Again, I wouldn't disagree with these points. I don't think his pain threshold is what keeps him on the floor though, he is trying and failing to win fouls - poor decision making. I guess I have to back up my statement about his strengths by saying that he knows where the goal is and finds good positions most of the time. Also, when he does choose to keep his passing simple he can be quite effective at keeping an attack moving.

Don't get me wrong, I was furious with him during most of the game, I just find it pointless to keep attacking him for attributes he has never had.
