If We Had Been Given The Penalty Claims

Dzeko would have hit it against a defender or Aguero would have dribbled it down a blind alley.

Total shite from our front men tonight, I'd have them at Carrington firct thing tomorrow working on the basics.

the only defendce for our club (not the shit performance of the players ) is that United are not much better and again escaped with TWO penalties. We get our two penalty shouts and we win the game against a tough team, at a tough ground.

First thing I'd do tomorrow is point out to Dzeko that he is 6ft fucking 4, not a Philippino midget rent boy.

Kid needs to bulk up, man up and win some fucking headers!!!!

Exactly. He needs to man up but I'm afraid he doesn't have the balls to do so. Complete pussy

Just got back to a Liverpool hotel for the 2nd time in a week feeling low.

Re Dzeko - I do not want to get into criticism too much as I do not like that, but one thing I would say is that he needs to 'man-up' when going for '50-50' balls. Logically if there is a loose ball and 2 players, one being Dzeko, go for it - well he should win about half??

But he does not seem to - he seems to bottle out and I would be surprised if his 'win rate' is higher than 10% - or does it just seem that way after tonight's performance??

But he is not alone - I have not seen a proper replay of the Everton goal but it come off Barry? - why does he always seem to turn is back when a shot comes in - FFS make yourself big and if necessary 'take one for the team'!!

We miss Ya Ya surging forward and thereby purring urgency into our play big time - fuck it - going down for a beer or 6

The ones from those crosses......erm......
I think the point about manning up and not allowing himself to be knocked over so easily....(and staying down as though waiting fpr the ref to stand over him and count him out)...is valid.

Would be nice to be given the opportunity.

THIS

tbf they don't get many chances handed to them though. Dzeko stands in total isolation unless he tracks back then he's completely out of position instead.

I firmly believe that Aguero is still carrying that injury from October when he did his groin, they said he would miss a month and he only missed a fortnight. He's not been the same since imo

I was calculating the points that we lost since the bent refs started their show:

3 pts Chelsea, 2 pts Wba, 1 pt Sunderland, 3 points Everton. At this moment we could had been 9 points above Scum and not to mention what happend in the Carling Cup semi, the FA Cup and even on Anfield, when all of this started back in november.

all this bias talk and bent refs is an excuse. we have been playing pure muck for a while now, we must face up to it. We have had enough quality to do much better in those games. So its all a load of nads to totally blame bias or refs. Yes we have had a lot of terrible decisions, but come on were are not playing well at all and that's more the reason for the defeats.

When we played United and Vinnie was sent off, and furthermore once the penalty was given for 2-0 . Each City player stood off from the tackle for fear , not of injury or losing the ball, but simply for fear of how Foy was going to interpret the next 'coming together' of players...

The argument has it's merits. Yesterday against Everton we were looking quite majestic until...........

Vince gets a very strange yellow card for something quite innocuous.

I simply didn't understand what the ref was doing there.

From there on it seemed to go downhill for us. Barry shouting at the ref questioning his weird decisions. Kun amazed at not getting anything from the ref ( looked to me like man and ball , certainly worse than the foul given for the first filth penalty
last night).

Once Vinnie got the yellow , i imagined everybody thinking "oh no , one more slip up from Vinnie and he's gone for another four games".

That yellow was preposterous, it wasn't a foul and if anything he could simply have had a quick chat to Vinnie, but no, straight out with the card. A joke.

It's no wonder the players are losing it. We are not a dirty team at all, yet we have seen some Red cards verging on the ridiculous. If you look at the Card statistics , we start to look like a rough team, which these players certainly are not.
I really couldn't imagine any of our players hacking at a player the way Rooney did in the England game. The way Rooney dove two footed last season at a Danish player in the CL. The way Gerrard has been known to jump in two footed and injure players. I still haven't seen Lampard's two footer....

I really think after the yellow on Vinnie last night the entire team were bewildered and shaken by this Ref. This was supported later on when the blatant handball from Chuckle 2 was not given ( and no Ross you are wrong , it clearly was a penalty, he had time to get his arm hidden and tucked away, and he moved his arm towards the ball).

When you see Davild Silva immediately after the chuckle 'penalty' shout to the ref and then at the end of his appeal to the Ref cleary speak the word 'F*ck Off', you can see the frustration in the players. I mean David is a nice guy , so him hurling expletives in English is quite a sight !

However , the Chelsea screw up by Clattenprick started the ball rolling. The most clear cut penalty not given since, since, well since Silva was fouled at Bayern....

Vinnie was booked 1st (half) chance the ref got - before that there were a number of bad challenges by Everton players - a couple from that Drenthe who was just allowed to get away with it - I call it fucking bent!! The ref was breaking up our play and giving set piece opportunities to Everton - eventually this is going to break up the rhythm - it would for any team

And as for the scum - they are a pretty average side - but when they get free kick after free kick around the box (and repeated soft penalties) then yeah that helps build momentum and keep the other team on the back foot -especially when they can be sure to get a free kick by just falling over if the other team breaks - bent as fuck in my (Stella affected) opinion

Walton couldn't wait to book Vinnie. Also booked Lescott for fuck all.
Royston "Gary Coleman" Drenthe should have had a straight red or even been off for a 2nd yellow as he should have been booked for diving in the first half.
Surprised nobody mentioned the pen we should have had when Howard blatantly fouled Lescott but got a free kick for himself

It's the terrible decisions that cause the lack of fluidity and confidence. If VK goes in for a challenge now you can't tell me that it will be as full blooded (but fair) as it was before the injustice of the derby red card. Or can you?
