CARLOS TEVEZ is set to incur the wrath of Manchester City again by pulling his boots on for the first time since September to play in a testimonial game in Buenos Aires on Saturday.
Tevez, who has been back in Argentina without City’s permission since November, has agreed to play for Boca Juniors to pay tribute to former team-mate Martin Palermo.
But that will infuriate City, especially as he has lodged an appeal to the Premier League over the £1.2million fine they have imposed on him for breaking the terms of his contract.
David Pizarro’s surprise arrival at Eastlands is set to signal the end of Owen Hargreaves’ Manchester City career.
Pizarro, 32, has joined City from Roma on loan until the end of the season because Roberto Mancini has given up hope of former England midfielder Hargreaves ever being fit enough to play regularly.
Hargreaves, who joined City after being released by Manchester United last summer, has started only two Carling Cup ties this season and made two other brief substitute appearances. His one-year contract runs out this summer and City are unlikely to renew it.
