Is this a permanent signing of our gorlie or a new sponsorship deal with a French company that specializes in Lemon-fresh Gussets?

I'll bet you wouldn't say that to his face though.....Well...not without a biscuit tin or three to stand on.

Good. I like the thought of having a steady number two. As a tonic, he should immediately be given the job of Europa League number one. Onwards and upwards Panty!

3m seems a lot but I thought he was decent enough in the couple of games we have played. I would of rather oldie but goodie like Sorenson or whoever but i am happy enough with this guy. Seems a nice guy and will not upset the applecart like a potentially volatile older second choice may have.

We need a good number 2 and he is a good number 2. Has done well when he's played this season and appears very keen to be a part of the club.

I feel much more confident having him on the bench instead of Stuart Taylor.

Because I think our number two needs to/should be someone experienced who would be ready to jump in and would be guaranteed to do reasonable job. Not some awkward looking project who can't deal with crosses.

Also, where do we need project goalkeeper when we have our number one for next 15 years or so?

Good experienced keepers won't come to be a number 2 when they have NO CHANCE at all of competing with the number 1. They have to at least have a hope of challenging.

He seems good enough and as long as he is happy to sit on the bench then fine

I think they signed him because the bid was going up, in march, with 2 mil if i recall and because the owners of Timisoara were talking with Scum, if we didn't decide soon.

Ah the old "we are negotiating with your rivals" line to push through a deal, no chance scum would of signed him, another keeper in that mould is last thing they need.

He did everything well in the games that he has played. And pulled off a great save vs Arse in the CC. I think he's a wonderful 2nd keeper, miles better then de Gea

He was great against Arsenal but looked worrying against Birmingham. Seems a very capable number two but no way is he better than De Gea, Will be interesting to see how he gets on in Europa. Surprised a Romanian national came to sit on our bench though.

I like him as a number two, he seems happy with those terms as well, so I'm glad he signed.
