Would be perfect for the captain just on merit alone. Out of the two Hart will get it so not to cause outrage in the media. Terry and his fellow racists have a lot to answer for he's not fit to wear the shirt let alone be captain.

I totally agree.

It would be a nice accolade for Joe and the club but it would be one that comes with all sorts of issues. No thanks.

Was gonna say I can't think of a single reason why not. The above however, is a good one.

posted that on twitter myself. you need a regular starter, inj free, role model for the job or its pass the baton.
dont agree hes been stripped of it twice tough, he should never have got it back. it makes you wonder if joe would come under fierce scrutiny by the media and his personal life would become non existant because of it.
double standards by the fa once again when gerard was up on an affray charge i never heard any outcry over him being vice catpain.
knowing full well ferdinands injury record at the time. the fa are in the same position as when the terry bridge episode occurred so its ok for terry to play but not be captain. thats why they have elevated the importance of the england captain out of all proportion.
so it looks like hes suffering. but this time its not a personal thing between 2 players, him being in the team affects all the others, cue the fa to provide all england players with john terry is innocent, T, shirts, before the friendly with holland, ycnmiu.

Come on lads, there's only 1 logical choice for the job. It must be the official best player in the Premier League ever Scotty Parker of course - he's the best player in the world, dont you know? The Sun and Mirror tell you so every weekend, giving him star man and 9.5 out of 10 for every game, even when he isnt playing.

Scott Parker, really? I had Joey Barton shoe-horned for the captaincy.

Hope he doesnt get it, its bad enough the press ruin every keeper and every captain seperatly it would be the icing on the cake for a keeper captain. Anyway not that i give a shit about England, i personally dont like keepers as captains. He has never even been a captain at club level be crazy to make him national team captain.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he gets it, it might get us a fair crack of the whip from the FA and certain others.

that's actually an interesting perspective....it could matter.

Look, if Joe wants it i hope the lad gets it. No one more deserving among the legion of wife-swapping, adultering, drug-addled, teenage-girl impregnating, gag-ordering motley crew that is the England squad. Oh, and did i mention over-rated douchebags? There's a couple of them as well.

cheers

You really need to get over this hatred you have of England. I know the Coercive Acts were a bit nasty but you should be over them by now.

Oi my ancestors' cousins were involved in that! Mind you, they were Jacobites so the less said about that the better given the alternate line of succession to the Crown :O(
