If Twitch gets the England job, what's the betting it will be announced in the week leading up to the Filth's game at Spurs?

He'll take the role full-time after the season, leaving Spurs having lifted them to the Prem title - they won it in January when they beat Everton 2-0, remember!
Then England will as usual play like shite in the summer tournament, and within a year the press will begin slaughtering the bent bastard like they do with every England manager ignoring the bleeding obvious that we simply arent that good - happy days.

such is the ground swell of pressure and emotion redknapp will be swept into position soon enough, really spurs have no chance of winning the league anyway so he might as well go with it.

Can't understand why Twitcher would want the England job, he won't be able to take his 'cut' from players being transferred.....unless his contract will include innovative new ways of providing him with a load of sneaky bonuses (all outside the realms of Income Tax liability, of course).

There was the same hype before Capello was appointed. And back then 'arry stepped out of the race as he "still had a job to do". Am guessing surely that's still the same as he hasn't yet fulfilled what he aspired to with Tottingham..... And who knows how long that might take ;-)
