Porto are preparing to make an official complaint to UEFA because Manchester City fans were chanting: "You're not incredible," at visiting striker Hulk during Wednesday night's Europa League match, according to reports.

A Porto spokesman, Rui Cerqueira, said the Portuguese side will report the matter on the grounds that City's fans acted in an improper way.

Porto are also seemingly unhappy that fans chanted "cheat" at the Brazilian forward because of perceived play-acting - and are seeking an official investigation, the Guardian reported.

Cerqueira also reportedly told a Portuguese news agency: "This kind of behaviour may be normal in England, but we want to eradicate it from football."

City lodged a complaint themselves two weeks ago after Yaya Toure and Mario Balotelli were subject to alleged racist chanting at the Estadio do Dragao in the first leg. UEFA has opened a disciplinary case into that matter.

Porto were upset at City's complaint, with Cerqueira saying that chants in support of "Kun" Aguero and Hulk had been mistaken for racist abuse.

"Kun, Kun, Kun; Hulk, Hulk, Hulk," Cerqueira said. "These can be easily confused with racist chants."

Seems being a cunt runs from the players all the way through the back room staff at Porto. Diving and moaning on the field, diving and moaning off the field

FFS, i thought this was a WUM until i just saw the story posted by the guardian. unbelieveable.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012 ... ting-porto

The opportunity for Manchester City's supporters was too good to pass up. Their team were on their way to a 4-0 win against Porto and the opposition had a striker going by the name of Hulk who was showing signs of frustration. "You're not incredible," the home fans sang.

Hulk, real name Givanildo Vieira de Souza, certainly did not look like he had superhuman powers as Sergio Agüero inspired City to a 4-0 victory to send them into the next round of the Europa League with an aggregate 6-1 victory.

Porto, however, have not seen the funny side. The Portuguese club are now preparing an official complaint in which they will ask Uefa to open disciplinary charges against the Premier League leaders – and they are denying it has anything to do with an apparent humour bypass.

Rui Cerqueira, the club's spokesman, said the matter would be reported on the grounds that City's supporters had acted in an improper way. Hulk had also been targeted with chants of "cheat" because of the Brazilian's tendency to look for free-kicks and Porto will claim he was the victim of unsporting behaviour that warrants an official investigation.

The allegations have been met with bewilderment at the Etihad Stadium where they could be forgiven for wondering if it is tit-for-tat retaliation after what happened when the two teams met at the Estádio do Dragão last week. Uefa has opened a disciplinary case after two of City's black players, Mario Balotelli and Yaya Touré, were racially abused – just as Didier Drogba and William Gallas were when they played there for Chelsea in 2004.

Porto, however, have made it clear they are outraged by City lodging a complaint. The Porto version of events that it was actually both sets of supporters chanting in support of Hulk and "Kun" Agüero. "Kun, Kun, Kun; Hulk, Hulk, Hulk," Cerqueira said at the time, demonstrating the chants. "These can be easily confused with racist chants."

All of which was a strange explanation given that Agüero was not even on the pitch at the time. Incredible, you could say.

Funny, because I know so few City fans who actually use "KUN" normally it plain "AGUERRO.

Almost as funny as when Gornik accused City players of being drugged in the Cup Winner's Cup after being outplayed at Maine Road by a City reserve team.

Forget it, it'll go away. All noise, piss and wind.

I think this is hilarious. They cheat, they are racist, they are sore losers, and do not understand humour. I never realised Portugal was such a cultural backwater.

Kun kun kun, hulk hulk hulk

Doesn't even remotely sound like a monkey. Surely the Porto staff just threw down one too many beers last night and have filled all this while completely hammered. That really can be the only explanation (I hope). Maybe they're all waking up today thinking " what the fuck did we just do?" like a kid checking for phone for drunkenly calling or texting people after a night out

We can't really shout Kun as apparently it's pronounced Kooon. Or maybe that's what they want us to shout so that we're at the same level.

Oh for UEFA to do something about the racism. But I suspect if found guilty, Porto will be fined a few hundred pounds as has happened to others previously

I think they are more pissed at the fact - in the two games he has played against a top team he has had no real impact, and we've managed to wipe out the hype about his value, he's worth no more than £10m tops I think his buy out clause is £84m - lol
