Mancini said in the OS interview "We'll need to change the team, you must if you play every three days."
so what do you reckon the team will look like?
my prediction
Hart
Zabba - Kompany - Lescott - Kolarov
Barry - Yaya
Johnson - Silva - Balotelli
Dzeko

This isnt a go at your thinking - because youre probably right - but i get so frustrated when we play without Micah and Clichy.
Eddie Izzard ran 43 marathons in 51 days ffs. (i know its a different thing but you get my point).
They train most days a week and if they cant handle 2 games a week then im shocked.
Don't mind rotating the side, but not the defence. Micah and Clichy, if fit, should play as many games as possible from now to the end of the season. And to think that 'its only Blackburn' so we can get away with it, is playing a risky game.
Saying that. Ive not managed City to top of the league. So i'll pipe down. Until it goes tits up and i'll give it the big 'i am'. ;)

I heard Barry is struggling with a knock, so maybe he will rest? Also think Blackburn may be a bit physical for our AJ, and maybe Pizarro has shown he has the key to unlock teams we need to score against?
How about:
Hart
Zabba Komps Jolene Kolarov
DeJong
Silva Yaya Pizarro Mad Mario
Dzeko
??

I hpe dzecko plays for fantasy football reasons but id go with:
Hart
Usual back 4(i dont like messing with back 4, by all means change the rest of the team but keep the best defence in the league together)
De Jong Milner
Silva Yaya Mario
Tevez..................................Joke I mean Dzeko!
Make changes when we get in the lead maybe look to give Aj, Pizzaro and kolo/zaba a run

I know what you're saying but the argument would be that the players have to be able to perform at the optimal/maximum level, whereas Eddie Izzard just had to perform/get through it. That's not a slight on Eddie, he was magnificent.

Just play the strongest team ffs.
Blackburn are completely capable of scoring goals and we shouldn't take them too lightly, especially as they'll be fighting hard not to be relegated.

Reckon he will start de Jong and what could have been a 5-0 demolishing will turn into a boring as fuck 2-0 win.

Perfect Mate
Rags and Racists have done this for the last 30yrs .
It is really that simple.

You're kidding right? Baconface never plays the same team twice.
You have to rotate. You buy a whole heap of top players for a reason.
If you think that running 12klms mostly at top speed getting knocked around along the way, playing with niggles, maintaining 100% concentration, jumping, changing direction twice a week for 9 months is sustainable, well.... you've got issues.
I'll stick with the sports scientists who think that rotation is a better option thanks.

We've got a good enough squad to make a few changes without gutting the side.
I'd say Barry will drop out as will at least one of the fullbacks and one of the front players.

I dont think there is any question of not playing the strongest team, or that players aren't fit enough to play 2 games in 4 days.
It's the cumulative effect, and the mental freshness. Put out hungry players.
Seems to be the modern way anyway. Although I was always ready at my humble level, so I'm just explaining what goes on nowadays! Not really sensible to play 11 players until they start dropping off one by one, probably in mid-March, when you need them most!

VERY different! lol
His feet were also basically peeling off his ankles, he was barely capable of walking at some points let alone running.
I know Blackburn are in trouble, but really, we should start with our best team and rest players if we manage to get a nice lead. Lets be honest ,we should be 3-0 up by half time if we play our A team, rest the big guns or most tired players and play it out to a 4-1 win ideally!!

Dzeko has to start today after two games out. Then it's a case of whether Balotelli, Aguero or neither start with him. I suppose the Six Million Dollar Man will be back doing his slomo sprints at leftback.
AJ & Milner both need a game, so perhaps Nige & Barry will be left out.

Hart, yaya and 9 others. Those 2 are that good.
