What activity do we expect in the summer? I believe that there will be limited activity whether we win the league or not. And my focus here in the first team squad so ignoring Ade, RSC etc.
Out
Tevez
Kolo
Hargreaves
In
Pizzaro
A N Other centre back
Hopefully Guidetti can be the fourth choice striker and we can spend any cash on a real CB to challenge Lescott, this is the only weakness in the squad.
We would also save wages from Kolo and Tevez.

Lescott has been great this season, Vinnie has been the far weaker CB.
CB - COVER/CHALLENGE
Winger
Striker
JOB DONE

As I wrote in the Sturridge thread, I wouldn't be surprised to see AJ leave and Sturridge to come in.

I think we'll be looking for a wide player with real blistering pace.

Agree with Tévez. Also agree with AJ out. Also wouldn't be surprised to NDJ go if he hasn't signed a deal. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kolo stay though. Hargreaves doesn't count.
If Guidetti can do it in pre-season give him a go. Maybe the multimillion world class CB is already on our books? Rekik has the potential to be that world class CB we normally sign for multi-millions. Surely Pizarro is a stop-gap signing. Although he has proved himself worthy, his permanent signing would go against the grain of our mostly-young signings. But then I guess there WAS Vieira.
I really would like to see us spend next to nothing and, as our revenues multiply, give a real kick in the teeth to all the 'FFP-will-doom-City' wankers. Having said that - if Mancini can prove a case for big signings get them in.

Tevez, AJ, kolo, NDJ all out.
CB and ronaldo in.
Sturridge is gash. Bale is a really really really poor ronaldo for about the same price.

Outs:
Tevez
Hargreaves
Adebayor
Bridge
RSC
Weiss
Boyata
Possiibles:
Kolo Toure
(Kolarov)
(Savic)
(AJ)
(Dzeko)
(Milner)
Any of those in brackets could go depending on how they play now, & whether players become available whom Bob covets.
In deffo:
A.N. Other centre back. (Don't trust Verthongen at all personally, but could be him)
Fast attacking/mid/wide/2nd striker player (Lavezzi, Sturridge, Ronaldo)
Deep midfield type (Bob can't resist)
My guess possibles (if certain players leave):
Fast attacking Left back/left mid.
Cavani
Sturridge
This season's off the wall, out of the blue, unexpected, Bob signing: Frank Lampard.
+ Several young players.

Surprised noone has mentioned a creative/ballplaying mid. Where would we be this season if silva or yaya broke a leg? We got some cover most places on the field but none for those two. Mancini wanted de rossi for a reason and I think a yaya type player is 1st pri and personally would like another silva/nasri type.
If we keep kolo I think we are OK at cb, a great winger would be nice but don't think we are a good fit for a pure winger as we don't play that type of football. We are more fit for a Ronaldo/sturridge/the new bale type winger tha cuts inside but can also cross now and then:-)

I think he'll sign one but possibly one who plays deeper, more like Yaya's role, then use Silva, Nasri & a new signing such as Lavezzi or similar further forward but it's all down to who becomes available imo. If great players suddenly come up as interested, we will be in for them & look to ship one or two of the present squad to pay/make room for them or even in part ex, to tempt clubs to sell.

In:
Lavezzi and Martinez please
Martinez can cover ball playing deep lying mid and centre back, two birds one stone, job's a good un and all other suitable Gaels.

Pizzaro? Don't know how he would stand up to playing week in week out as his history suggests his biggest problem is that he is made of the same glass as Hargreaves.
If we go for a Yaya type, that spells the end of Nige and / or Gaz Baz

Its just tweaking now and small upgrades.
A lot probably depends on Tevez moving out early.
Always good to get a couple of fresh faces in.
CB
Pacey winger
Either Guildetti back or a new CF for Tevez cover.

Where has this sudden desire for us to buy Sturridge come from? He's been ordinary this year. I've watched him a fair bit and he's done nothing to suggest that he can improve us.
The outs have been coverred.
Ins depend on so many factors but if Bob isn't convinced with Dzeko then Cavani is a must.
Otherwise we need a quality replacement for Tevez which has to be Lavezzi.
A quality centre half, I'd love Subotic.
If NDJ is on his way then the question is whether we spend some serious dough or hang fire in the hope that Razak will be ready from 2013/2014. Xavi Martinez is a very good shout if we decide to spend. A cheaper and more short term solution would be Cambiasso.
We obvious need to be careful with the cash but if AJ leaves I'd love to see us bring in someone young attacking talent. Ross Barklay or James McLean perhaps.
