I haven't seen anything to suggest I should change my original opinion that we will win it. It's now going to be harder than it should have been because of people like Chelsea, letting the rags off the hook though.

If it was based on talent & actual performance over the season rather than fear, shit refs & bullshit, we would be ten points clear now. As it is, we will probably have to acheive an almost record breaking run in. But we are fully capable of doing exactly that.

I think if we have 3 points going into that match against them knowing all we have to do to win the title is beat them that night, then we'll be fine.

Hell, even if we were three points behind them going into that game knowing a win puts it back in our hands, I think we'll do it.

Had Norwich held on and there was now a four point gap, I would already be putting the ice in the bucket, with the champagne to follow should spurs get the result I think they will.

If Spurs do beat the rags, its a five point gap, (lets face it, we are going to wallop Bolton) and that's a healthy lead to hold considering how many much of a gap we "threw away" during our "crisis".

On topic, Doomie's right, any of you who think the title is the rags can just fuck off now. You are obviously easily ear-fucked by the media and co.

Next you'll be telling us United get stronger in the 2nd half of the season.

We are a far better team, we've hit form at the right time, we have a two point lead, a far superior goal difference and we still have them at our place. If we don't win it, it will be down to City, not the scum, or anyone else.

Whilst i don't subscribe to the need to referto my fellow city fans with such foul and abusive name calling,

I simply would like to ask all of you, when you indulge in a conversation with a red, or any other fan for that matter. Once you have got over the obvious about the money spent, simply ask them this " are you enjoying watching the great football City are playing ?" if they cannot admit tonit and say yes, simply terminate the conversation, because any fan of football will say yes to the question. We play simply great football. The rest is irrelevant

Having wathched "them" in a number of games, I can't believe that they are as close as 2 points. They have their moments, but, blue-tinted specs off for a moment, this must be the worst rag side I can remember since Dave Sexton was manager.

I don't want the manager or players going about crying how "everyone is against us, it's a fix" (even though it is). I want the attitude that says "we aren't to get anything given to us, so we'd better roll up our sleeves and win every game".

I stand firmly in the believe that MCFC shall be Champions. But Doomie has a strong point.
You saw, very well, how carefully we have been "pushed out" of both domestic cups: the Vinnie's early sent off + 4 ban and the 2 very soft and surgical yellows to Gaz Baz (while we were ran out of holders) spring to mind even more than the Webb's U turn on the Mario's incident onto Angel Face.
I grown up refusing to contemplate any paranoid mindset but for sure, comes early april, the Club shall need to renew the perfectly orchestrated censorship issued by the "Legendary" Paddy and perhaps lobbying the FA in order to understand if Bernstein is still a Blue or become just a politician.
As far as the fixtures are concerned, there's no doubt in my mind that we shall confortably ride over them, providing that we may rely in fair refereing (as since Pat outspoke) and nothing else than possible injuries shall prevent us to field our best lineup at the derby.

At the top of the bollox thread, out points are mentioned. The other part of that is that the rags are one point ahead of last season having played two games less. Considering the way we both keep winning, you'd have to assume they'd need to win them, so effectively, they're seven points better than they were at this stage of last season and yet they're still two points behind us.

People keep going on about how we can't shake them off. It's true, but it's a bit of glass half empty or full. They are way better, points wise, than last season, yet they still can't catch us. If I was a rag, I'd be gutted. Everyone keeps saying the pressure will get to us and we'll fall away, yet with 2/3 of the season gone, we're still top.

I think we'll win it, but it will be tight. I thought at the start of the season that there would be less than 6 points in it and therefore the derbies would be crucial and it's certainly looking that way. Don't lose the derby and we'll be nearly there. Win it and it'll be effectively over (until we lose at Newcastle and the panic sets in)

Chuckle 2 made me laugh on MOTD 2 after they scouse 1. He was asked who he thought would win the title and responded that "U*t have the experience and are now starting to click into gear". Yeah 3-0 down at Chelski, 1-2 v Ajax and not convincing v Delia. We are playing far better and have figured out how to win again. We've got our mojo back. I fully expect Spurs to take points off them next weekend. A point for Norwich would have been a bonus but hey, another game has gone, we're still top and have increased our goal difference by 2. Bring it on.

Note to Chuckle 2. Our record since losing to scouse 2. Played 5, won 5 f 13 a 1. That's clicking into gear.

He made a complete twat of himself in the Napoli-Chelsea game last week, repeatedly slagging off Napoli even as they devastated Chelsea. Calling Napoli a nothing side and saying an easy win was there for Chelsea if they wanted it. Probably just a roundabout dig at City now that I think about it.
