If only.......

Just been luxuriating, for the last few days, in the warm glow of each of our three strikers all getting on the scoresheet against Blackburn.

I know it could never happen, but if Bob ever chose to play all three of them together, from the start of a game, I wonder what the rest of the team's line-up/formation would be.

If we played 4-3-3, one of the midfielders would be David Silva (couldn't leave our Magician out at any price, could we ??), but who would the two others be, to provide the best balance ??

Conversely, we could go to a 5-2-3 formation and it becomes even more intriguing.

I know it's only a bit of nonsense, but would anyone else, other than an idiot like me, like to see us start with these three players in the side and what would/should the other names be, on the teamsheet, if we were to do it ??

I'm surprised at you. More than 3 dots at the end, of your topic title, is just wrong...

I like Kun & Mario up front, with lots of options of movement & variation in midfield.

Dzeko
Mario Aguero

Silva. Yaya
De Jong.

Would have to be against a poor side though as I'd be worried when we didn't have the ball. Sergio would track back, but Mario? Depends on what mood he was in

Dzeko
Silva - Aguero - Balotelli
Yaya - Barry
Clichy-JL-VK-Richards

what's the problem?
Imo there isn't any reason why we couldn't start with that team vs Bolton next Sat

Silva and Yaya are nailed on for any game where they are fit

Apologies all round, Socrates my cyber friend. I'll have to mend my errant ways.

However, please make some allowances as I did intimate I was in a 'de facto' dreamland.

I'd love to see all 3 of them play. I think Bolton this weekend would be the perfect opportunity to trial it.

----------------------Hart------------------
Richards---Kompany---Lescott---Clichy
---------------------Barry------------------
--------------Yaya---------Silva-----------
-------Aguero-------------Balotelli-------
-------------------Dzeko-------------------

With Richards and Clichy as our usual wingers, I don't see why that couldn't work. If we don't have much success in the first half, we could always bring on Nasri, Milner, AJ, De Jong, Pizarro.

All 3 strikers are having great season. My first choices would always be Aguero or Balotelli (sorry to our Bosnian posters) as I believe they're the guys who can create something out of nothing, but I would like to see how all 3 could play together.

Just worrying about you, thinking you might have gone dotty.

QPR at home, last day of the season. League won, a pretty little ceremony coming up after the game. I wouldn't mind seeing all 3 on the pitch giving that mouthy prick Hughes a proper going over. The kind of going over that gets managers sacked.

Hart
Richards-kompany-lescott-clichy

Yaya-Barry

Silva

Aguero-Balotelli
------dzeko-------

Smash them 8-0. But while the league is on the line, no thanks. Games are won in the middle of the park.

Yaya seems to be, but I'm quite sure Silva has been rested once or twice. I still can't believe we have players the standard of Milner, Nasri and Johnson ON THE BENCH.

Against Bolton at home, why not. There wont be any need to track back as they wont attack much !
