This is going to be interesting. I was convinced they will stick with him untill the end of the season and then bring Jose, but now i think they are after the Spanish Waiter.

Hahaha hopefully they will come to us now in worse wear than they already are in and we can dry bum them all over the place. Give the cheating cunts what they deserve.
I think the core of that team is too old for "new manager syndrome". Half of them probably played with di Matteo FFS and won't feel like they have anything to prove to him. If they didn't give a shit for a treble winner they won't try hard for him anyway.

Not really a surprise, they still won't turn the season around now he's gone though. I don't believe there form this season is just down to him the player need to take responsibility as well. Oh well we will still beat them in a couple of weeks time.

He was given a job to do wasnt he, re-invent the squad whilst staying in the top 4. He have probably achieved that.
Di Matteo will no doubt make a huge difference...............

Player power strikes again at Chelsea, i heard that they were none to keen on big Phil when he was the gaffer and made sure he got the old boot and they have done the same with AVB! I feel sorry for the guy having to work with back stabbing cunts like John Terry, Frank Lampard and Ashely Cole. That team needs ripping up and starting again. Too many OAPs and gob shites!

" Boss, it's me AVB, I've been thinking, & now I know what we need to solve the problems next season, just give me £80 million to sign Hulk.."
"Boss.."

This
His age was a problem and his plan was doomed from the start when you look of how things are going on there. Beside the back stabbing trio, AVB had an idiot owner who doesn't understand that a reconstruction needs time and can't be done over night.
Thinking a little more, this is normal from a club that is owned by one who gave 6 billion to his ex-wife. They don't have absolutely no strategy, no plan, no nothing.

Not that sorry for him - he looked like a flasher with that mac, he's younger than me and a PL manager (which made me feel old) and he's just got about £10m as a payoff. Hope his mum makes him stay in tonight as punishment

I hope our owners have taken notice of the events at Chelsea. A very successful team over the past few years that has slowly declined. All sides need renewing and refreshing and that hasn'y happened. Partly due to chopping and changing managers. Hiddink and Grant (and I suppose De Matteo now) have beem stop gap appointments - so change wasn't part of the job description. Scolari and AVB did have a brief to revamp the squad but weren't able to sort things out. I suspect because they couldn't carry the Lampards and Terrys with them. Ancellotti seems to have been the most successful of the post-Jose bunch, but, after the sacking of Wilkins had his position undermined - at least that's how it looked on the surface.
It's not so much that they've made a mistake sacking the various managers, there've been good reasons in most cases, but, finding the right man to take the club forward has proved to be a problem.
So, what's all this got to do with us. Well, first, I'm not saying that we should stick with Bobby come what may. For example, if there was some sort of collapse that we finished fifth, or even third or fourth, then, unless there were some damned good reasons (Silva, Yaya, Kun and Vincent all getting their legs broken for example) then we'd be looking for a new manager.
Either way, at the end of the season Mancini only has a year left on his contract. At the moment we don't have a CEO, so it's difficult to know who's in charge of planning. But, there are some important decisions to be made and a range of eventualities to prepare for. I hope somebody is mapping out the way forward - something that doesn't seem to be happening at Chelsea.

The man was clueless.
A very expensive error by Abramovic. In meeting his Porto release clause and paying up contract this has cost over £30Mil.
Who next? Mourinho, Benitez, Klopp, Guariola, Hiddink?
