Even if he was fit and had played lots of football (somewhere) he would still take time to get up to speed with these players.. meanwhile he would be trying too hard to do it all on his own and cock the balance up. Lastly, if we go off the last few seasons Tevez takes a good 4 or 5 games to get his act together at both the start of the season each year or after a lay off/injury.
It is always greener grass on the other side of the fence. <so while we are at it there should be no panicking or clutching of straws, no firesales, speedy loan deals or anything else. A longer than usual look in the mirror for the players from the last two games and a glance at the table should be enough to get some fire going.
Imo sitting at the top for a long time for this team with the experience as a team that they have, was not good. There is now a carrot to chase and while that may not be good for the nerves of fans, I suspect it will do this team the world of good. The pressure is now transferred to the rags, there are lots of games still to go and personally I believe they needed this wake up blow... even Mancini. Once again it is time to up it
keep the faith and no chasing shadows of Tevez.. that's all he is right now a shadow.

what i am saying is, away from home test the water, i am sure we would of got more from him say dezeko with ten mis to go, FUCK me we are chasing a league title, i actually think a player of his quality may been of some use today,
like i said away from home, because at home i am sure hw will be booed thus this may not be productive to our performance so if we can pick & choose his games to play, maybe this would of been one of them

Is it fuck mate!!
Having him as an option from the bench for the rags run in was a huge reason they won the title.
He is the absolute ideal player to bring on against a tiring stubborn defence because he actually runs AT them causing havoc and space for others to exploit.
As well as being one of the best finishers in world football over the last two years.
He is a cunt but a cunt I wish we had the option of a few times this season.
The sooner he is match fit the better. How much better? Maybe we'll find out, but he will not make us worse in a game where we already don't look like scoring.

that is the same dzeko who played on thursday or who came on today, well i would take the gamble
that would be the same dzeko who played on thursday or who came on as a sub, fooking hell i think i would take the gamble then

You are assuming that Tevez would play like he does at his best or norm, what I am pointing out is that just wouldn't be the case he would be off the pace losing the ball and generally worse than Dzeko. In our mind's eye we see the Tevez the dynamo running at defences etc etc.. the evidence points the complete other way, he is generally shite after coming back/start of the season and cant score to save his life. If you dont believe me or have forgotten go and look at when he got his first goals in the last two seasons. About 7 or 8 games in you will find.
It sounds good and you're right to ask the question, the reality would be very disappointing.

Correct.

I am starting to edge very slightly towards this way of thinking.
But my answer is still, nah, not really.

I don't know what Tevez's current fitness levels are like but that would be my only worry about him. I certainly think that Aguero looks like he needs a break.
I don't care what sort of cunt Tevez is, My only interest in him is can he play. City are paying him a fortune and some are happy for him to sit on his arse...Let him earn it.
