David Silva

What does the guy have to do to get a penalty? Fouled again yesterday with no decision given. I count that as 4 times this season he's been legitimately felled in the box without earning the spot kick. He doesn't have a history of diving.

Oh, and where's his form gone? We need you firing again Dave.

I think your first paragraph goes some way to answering your question. I think certain players are getting sick of the Premier League Handicap System and it is affecting their morale.

I think Balo more. The guy gets lumps kicked out of him and the ref does nothing.

I think something like that could definitely affect morale, but you expect them to have the ability to rise above that.

Mario is definitely targeted by the refs and that is a real shame. I don't know why silva is not getting any important calls, as I can't imagine he has got a reputation for anything like diving or acting or whatever. The standard of reffing in the league this season has truly reached a new level of pathetic that previously had not been reachable in the prem.

If the players are letting this affect them that badly mentally though, that is equally as pathetic and needs to be sorted out.

In my opinion though, Mario especially has done a much better job of handling the poor decisions that go against him. He did pick up a stupid yellow last night, but the amount of kicks he got was unreal. He got back up and kept trying to do something in attack at least ... unfortunately the team as a whole was completely ineffectual in every regard.

I think he has to behave more like he has been shot.
Roll around on the floor for ages.

I agree. Balo gets nothing off the refs and quite often is penalised when he is the one who is being fouled. I have lost count of the number of times he has been fouled in the box only for the ref to wave play on

10 other players can manage the game if we are being kicked, Shrek, Scholes, Giggs and Wio ref the game the only thing the man in the middle has to do is blow his whistle when they tell him, Red nose is also the 4th official. Manage the game, Swansea should be mullered no excuses.

Or a microphone, since he is the lead singer of the Zingzillas.

What has happened to him in the last few weeks? He looks a shadow of the player who was terrorising defences in the first half of the season and tonight against Chelsea was probably one of the worst performances by him in a City shirt. He seemed to be hiding tonight whereas he is usually all over the pitch demanding the ball. Getting very worried about his blip. Is he carrying an injury?

I hope he is, cos if he isn't. Then it's his attitude that is causing it. He needs a break. Johnson/Milner instead of him on Saturday at Stoke for me.
