Anyone watching the FA cup match? Something pretty nasty just happened to Muamba near the end of the first half - cameras have been staying well away from it. First half ended without the 5 or so mins of normal plus extra time being played... Commentator keeps mentioning efforts to resuscitate him.

just read this on bbc sport

White Hart Lane is a very subdued place at the moment while everybody awaits news of Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba. Ian Dennis, BBC Radio 5 live's senior football reporter, has just reported that Muamba is fighting for his life.

never what you want to see, hopfeully he'll get well soon

taken him to hospital match abandoned, cpr on the pitch and electric shocks they just said.still receiving cpr on the way to hospital hope he gets through this.

Horrible scenes and very worrying for the guy.

Hope he can stabilise but doesn't look good. Awful

Just about to watch Sevilla v Barca which brings back horrible memories of Puerta which I witnessed live on tv. Don“t really feel like watching it now. Dreadful news

Yep, heard the news too. My first thoughts were at Marc Vivien. I hope the lad will make it. He is a genuine nice person.
