• Manchester City have not conceded a first-half goal in the league since December against Chelsea, a run of 15 games.

• Roberto Mancini's side have scored 28 of their last 33 league goals at home.

• They require one goal to equal their highest goal-scoring tally in a Premier League season of 73, set in the 2009-10 season.

• If they win they will equal the all-time top-flight record of 21 home wins in a row, set by Liverpool in 1972.

Considering we will probably be playing against the ref as well (par for the course these days) lets slaughter them, don't give him a chance to influence the result.

Not much chance of getting fucked over against Sunderland at home. Away on the other hand they would probably get an offside goal in stoppage time that would be possibly the worst and most obviously wrong decision made all season but would never be mentioned again outside of some kind of Internet based group of city fans.

Mancini keeps mentioning Tevez isn't fit to play 90, I've a sneaky feeling he'll play him from the start and give him 60-70mins?

Didn't he say yesterday that Carlos can probably help us in the last 6 or 7 games? I took that to say that he may be up for a start against Arsenal or W Brom.

It is phil dowd. You know he's going to try it on. It is up to those of you who can get there to make it an intimidating atmosphere for him and the Sunderland players. My guess on the minute he gives us our first red card - 37, probably either Zabaleta or Balotelli. It'll be sooner if he can manage it though, the bent fuckin midget.

Come on City, let's make this twat of a ref irrelevant.

I'll be giving him dogs abuse mate. Saying that, it doesn't matter who the ref is, they're getting anyway.

Any score predictions? Without Cattermole and O'Shea then I'm going for 3-1. Or, at least I hope.

amazing...it's as if he hates being you. You cursed him for so so so many years, and this...is his revenge.

i can see him lubing up his whistle right now with a gleam in his eye and a focused stare. It's not every weekend he personally gets to do the work of the Lord, but this is his weekend. And he won't let them down.

sigh.

Watching Sheffield Wednesday vs Preston. Even in a goalless first half, the Wednesday wingers look better than anything I've seen from our wide players this season. Almost forgotten what it looks like when they run at defenders.

And Dowd's not the best, but he's not Clattenburg or Foy, either.

Once mancini ruled out a Tevez start, as premature, Edin and Mario along with 2 out of AJ, Dave or Samir is a self defining choice.
all out from ko, considering that the Skipper come back will also help the attacking shape by reverting Micah deep down the flank.
Fuck off Phil and the rags, we are better than anyone!

I was really hoping that he'd start James Milner today....I think that looks like a decent side. Wonder what the bench will be....

My guess....Costel, Zabba, Savic, Nasri, Tevez, Barry and maybe one of the youngsters

Kolarov will be getting an assist or two and Mario usually scores a few after one of his off field incidents. Like Milner in there too

Come on City!!
