Will they win the Premiership at the Etihad?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Will they win the Premiership at the Etihad?

Postby mancitymark » Sat Mar 31, 2012 6:23 pm

Am I the only one worried that they will be crowned Champions on the 30th at our place?

Dont know if I could sit through that.

sensible thread.
I reckon they don't.
what we saw today was just yet another confirmation that this team is still building a winning attitude and mentality.
what's basicaly makes it is the instinctive ability to stay fully focused and go for the throat week in and out. it is the ultimate step a team acquires and it is not only - even if mostly - releted to the self-confidence that comes from winning things.
Those ups and downs, as much as they may be sad and hurting to watch, just come from the inability to be focused on perceived lesser challenge/opposition and it's almost typical in any league of team still in becoming to live up their potential.
It is much and much easier and more natural to be self stimulated to step up to big challenges than it is toward average or perceived average once. that's way I fully expect a great performance to bounce back at the Emirates, as well as against the filth.
unfortunately what wins you titles is the consistency at being focused at the target.

hope my argument won't be proven wrong, otherwise You would have been rised a very serious point of pain.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Wouldn't be City if we didn't do it the hard way :)

biggest fear is us having to form a guard of honor and applauding them on to our pitch
hard to believe in our last 4 games we got 2 points from swansea, stoke and sunderland with the chelsea win sandwiched in between

i fully expected 9 points from those 3 games, continue the way we are and we could lose it by 10 points
they dont seem to be listening to mancini, he looked completely lost at 3-1 then in the last 10mins he changed it
and we came close to winning the game

Blackburn have a lot to play for Monday if they win they put daylight between them and the others down the bottom.Things look gloomy now but come Tuesday morning they could look a whole lot brighter.

they've done it before! Vassell could have prevented it!

Personally I'd like to think we'll murder them!

It's goddam physically depressing me.

I can't find a way to "man up" through this.

Falling apart at the seams. Relying on help from Blackburn isn't helping me cope.

If they do then so be it.

And the usual bile about how they will be even better next season and we will never win it will start again.

Do not be fooled, all is not well at the Theatre of Shite, it will be very interesting to see their midfield next season and that my friends is the reason we will steamroller it next season

Our day in the sun is just around the corner, our owner has decreed and it will happen.

If they do, you would hope that would inspire some of our lot, players and management, and maybe the penny will drop that some of them have not done enough this season and we have thrown the championship away.

Id rather the penny dropped now and the lot of them reapply themselves and we win our last 7 games and if United still win the league then so be it, but at least we can redeem some pride.
