Difficult one at one stage who could have seen past Silva, sadly his form as deserted him the past few months.Barry also had a great start to the campaign but has been poor in the second half of the season.

Plenty of worthy candidates such as Aguero, Yaya, Lescott and Hart but i think Micah edges it for me he has been superb all season.

So hard to call, i would of said Silva hands down up until recently. I will go for Lescott as think he has performed far above his level and we have missed him since he has been out. Joe second and Silva 3rd.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,

A very difficult one this, as all have had some sort of blips in form over the season or been missing for one reason or another.

Lescott - his loss has probably been felt hardest
Yaya - begged for him to come back from ACN, but our form has worsened with him back
Silva - gone from sublime to gareth taylor in a short time. Have to recognise his input and i think pundits will choose him for pl player of the year. Couple of decent performances in the run in will cement it for him imo
Aguero - great season from a goalscoring perspective, but have always had the feeling he had more to contribute
Hart - good season, made some crucial saves, which, if we go on to win the title could be a clincher
Richards - stunning improvement from him in maturity, ability and reliability


On balance, i feel lescott or silva will be the two to slug it out, but merlin will just shade it because on his day he was just so much better than anything else on the pitch
