SSN reporting that he's back in full training and could be in contention for the Arsenal game. Where's Doug when you need him ;-)

He said on Twitter that he's been training for a few days and is ready for selection.

Looking forward to having him back.

Oh and Lescott tweeted about possibly having a lemsip as he had a cold (he didn't, must have remembered Kolo) - apparently a journalist rang the FA/club to see if he was banned because of it.

Was the said journo asking a question or putting a name in the dock? I'm sure it would've been the latter.

Edit: How the hell can Lemsip be a banned substance, it's lemon and paracetamol ffs.

Many cold remedies and decongestants contain ephedrine

Bloody hell, I'm gonna have a Lemsip before each run, just hope I don't get massive in the process.

Try sudofed. Contains the largest dose of ephedrine that can be bought legally. Pharmacies often dissuade people from buying it, and question those that insist further as it is often the easiest source of ephedrine for fitness freaks.

Despite all his critics, and I for one dont think he is a top class center half. He have missed him sorely.

I'm of a different opinion, that Lescott is very much influential in all that we do. I like the way he commands at the back and regularly shouts or gets hold of people when he sees something going wrong.

He has been a rock at the back for 2 seasons now and when he's not there, with Vince having to be switched to accomodate Kolo, we're just not the same.

Good to see him fit, if he is indeed ready to play again, but agree he's a decent centre-half but not a top class one.

Kompany needs a top class partner next season, with Joleon filling in regularly with all the games we have. Savic and Kolo will hopefully be employed elsewhere.

He is without doubt a top class centre back and has proved it over 2 seasons now with City. Not world class maybe but definitely worthy of a top four club and out best defender this season.
Not sure about the lemsip but it raised a smile when I mentioned it to him yesterday.
