Because his stupidity will take the attention away from their abject performances today.

Came here to say that. Midfield were completely overrun, Pizarro was the only one who can take any credit from that game, and he didn't even start.

He's a cunt.
he doesn't give a shit about City, the fans, his team mates or anyone/anything but himself.
If Mancini doesn't out this selfish cunt in the summer then he can go for me as well.

Balotelli effectively pissed away our chances of winning the league early on with his red card challenge. The fact that Twatkinson didn't see it is irrelevant. He was willing to piss our title away just like that, for a brief moment of satisfying violence.
He has to go.

Can't disagree. I thought nothing really ran for Aguero from the little service he did get and he lost interest. Nasri was neat and tidy on the ball but didnt work even remotely hard enough. Barry's legs look like they've gone and Milner worked hard but zero quality.
Balotelli's performance summed up the last 3 and a half months for the team. Arrogance and little effort. Hopefully thats the last we will see of him.

I'd excuse Aguero as I thought he kept running and chasing defenders, but got very little support when we had the ball and don't recall anyone actually giving him a pass he could do anything with.

Aguero is playing like a dick, everytime he gets a break he turns back into trouble. Been doing it for months now. Seems to have forgotten to shoot.

true, but balo's petulance has an effect on the whole team. you can see it in their body language every time he gets booked, shoots from fucking 50 or dives to the ground like he's been knifed in the spine.

I think mario and bobbys conitinual starting of him is having an affect on them to be honest. We were playing with 10 men from the start then it went downhill.

Think most of our players except Kompany and Lescott were below par today. As for the players highlighted here I'm mostly worried about Nasri. He´s tidy on the ball but once again he shows that he's not having the fighting spirit that I would like all of our players to have. When we´re playing well he´s fine - but he won't ever be a leader that's needed to get us going when we're in a rocky patch of a game. When the going gets tough, Nasri gets invisible. We can afford a few such players when everything is running smoothly or when we have other leaders to get us going.
Leadership. That's actually the one area I'm most worried about when it comes to our chances of winning trophies. Hart and Kompany are leaders. Yaya has shown glimpses of that ability in some games but not on a regular basis. The problem is that we're lacking leaders higher up the pitch.

Or the problem could be that we have some players who dont want to be led (Balo) or simply dont have any fight in them(Nasri/Dzeko)?

Well, you´re definitely right that Balo dont want to be led. Nasri/Dzeko only fight when it suits them. When we played the lovely football we played during the 1st half of the season we can afford that attitude. But there's always gonna be patches during a season when we lose the mojo for a couple of games and in those games we need more players who's can steer on the whole team. I'm sure we have quite a few players that would catch on if someone/others showed how it's to be done.
And like I said, I think we need leaders higher up the pitch; midfield is a must but preferably a striker who can share that responsibility. I would love Yaya to shoulder that responsibility. He's a class act but not yet the midfield general in terms of leadership we need (taking a yellow card 2 minutes into the game today is one example). That's one of the reason I was hoping De Rossi would join us in the January window. However, I expect the whole team to show more fight, grit and leadership during the last six games but more so during nxt season.

I thought Nasri and GazBaz were OK. It had to be Aguero's time of the month, because he was cranky from the off. I don't think he's anywhere near 100%

Barry is far less effective when he has been booked, like pretty much every tackling midfielder. And his booking was well, odd, to say the least. Funny that.

Barry did Ok for me. Milner shite but what do you expect from a simple lad who has been systematically undermined by the manager? Nasri light weight.Aguero ran hard with zero support.I laughed when he took it off Zab's head with the goal gaping. What's Argentinian for "mine"? Ya Ya glad to see the back of him yesterday the way he started. Time methinks to find out who of the possibles, Milner, Johnson, Pizarro,Nasri, Dzeko can play. Tevez, the Idiot, and perhaps Nige should take a back seat. And Bob, for feck sake dont start going on about what a disaster Ya Ya out for a few games will be. Start building up the lads who lack a bit of confidence and atleast learn by your mistakes.
