how significant was his departure in our 'title loss' this season?

like many, i though that guy was a bit of a buffoon but for all of his foot in mouth moments, i actually thought that he was doing a fairly decent job as ceo...

if he'd still been in charge, i'm pretty sure the tevez saga would have been handled differently. also wonder if he'd have been open to team strengthening in january - would de rossi have made the difference? would he have had words with bobby about balo?

can't help but think that 'ravaged gate' has had a huge knock on effect in our success this season.

thanks nedum

I feel Cook was best kept away from the team and left to sort ticket office and city square

you sir, are a fucking spastic if you believe anything like what you've just written.

Do you think Cookie could have "unfucked" us from playing like a bunch of heartless twunts for the last 60 days? Could he have cancelled ACON? Could he have fucking uninjuried Vinnie or Lescott? Convinced Mancini to play someone instead of Silva or Aguero when both have been carrying knocks since i dunno fucking December? Could he have ref'd a few matchs vs the Rags and doled out red cards to their players or made the proper calls that *might* have caused them to drop points?

Answers to all of the above: No.

cheers

He's probably a better centre half than Savic, so yes, he was missed.

The departure of the tea lady was massive aswell. We'd probably be at least 4 points better off had she stayed.

This. Of all the long bows drawn over the years, this OP may be the longest.

WTF did Cook have to do with the play on the pitch or team selections?

Explains everything.

City will have my letter of outrage on this matter on the CEO's desk by the morning.

His departure also did not help our lack of width problem !
