Harry Redknapp At Spurs

Postby King Kev » Mon Apr 09, 2012 5:40 pm

In Tottenham's last 8 league games they have lost 4, drawn 3 and won just 1.

Will the media be clambering for him to be sacked or will they continue to push him forward as England's saviour?

If you're not an England fan, do you care?

If you're making an allusion to City's current situation, do you honestly think we are/should be at a comparable level to Tottenham?

Serious questions- what is the reason for this thread?

It'll be used as an excuse for the poor form - poor old 'Arry has been done by the FA who've ruined the best team in the premiership by not appointing him England manager & successor to the Queen

Funnily enough, I can't remember reading or hearing anything about how Harry 'must' get the England job recently, yet at one point, I was hearing it 50 times per day from scores of people.

Will these people have the balls to stand up & be counted & demand he gets the job like they were doing when it was fashionable to do so ? If not, will they be honest enough to say they were wrong or will they just hide & have an opinion when everyone else has one ?

Here's an idea.. let's hire 'Arry.. he will be our savior.

Ok, someone slipped me some Spurs Kool-aid.

Maybe this is all because Mancini is not English?

I've heard rumblings of Hodgson from a few in the press recently. I'm not sure if it's to take a little bit of the heat off their boy or they're beginning to smell the coffee.

Imagine if Khaldoon sacked Mancini and turned to Harry Redknapp.

Would rather have Mick McCarthy.

Spurs run of form illustrates to me that he's having the England job. In his own mind at least.

Would be funny if Bernstein pulled a swerve and appointed someone else!

I dont give two fucks if the press do or dont hound Saggy out but his team has deffo caught the Mancini bug no doubt.

Both squads are a fooking bunch of tarts.

honestly, i'm not sure who could have managed this team to get them to land OUTSIDE the Top 4 this season.

i dare you to try and name someone who could have achieved that. it won't be easy imho.

I think overall he's done a good job but he's taken them about as far as he can. They do have a really good squad of players and a healthy budget. Should be doing better.

I bet Steve Bruce would have given it a good go (to finish outside the top four)

Hughes would have finished in the top 4, and delivered a cup a year earlier than mancini did, with much inferior players.
