Maybe we aren't struggling?

Perhaps we aren't amidst a "struggle" but that this is just who we are. This is just as good as this team and manager are, right now.

We've been "more like this" than we have "more like what we keep talking about when we were kicking everyone's asses" this season, so let's think about it -- this is who we are...

disjointed, lazy, half-arsed, poorly-executing, half-hearted bottlers, BUT with enough quality to collect a lot of points and finish in the Top 4 easily.

Now, before you rip into me, there's ALSO the "us" who are going-for-the-throat, kitchen sink battlers who can do a fightback pretty well, and the version of us who can play elegant football and string together some lovely passes until getting clogged up in the middle. Those are some additional sides of City as well this season.

Realistically tho, we are who we are...and where we are is suiting our results.

We were fooled by the first 3 months of this season...we need to get a grip and realize that it was flukey, accidental, and/or has been purged out of the team due to tactics, man-management, injuries, and teams finding us out.

We are who we are...City...let's fuclin calm down and just try and have some fun again, shall we?

cheers

I think that's absolutely the case, we are not the finished article & need more work but we could still have won the league & imo may have still done so if we'd beaten Arsenal rather than just going through the motions.

And I don't think the rags have been very good all season, wheras we have been very good quite often, which makes it worse.
