FA reject derry appeal.

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

FA reject derry appeal.

Postby ashton287 » Tue Apr 10, 2012 3:21 pm

The FA have rejected an appeal by QPR against Shaun Derry's red card in Sunday's defeat at Manchester United.

The decision means the midifelder will miss Wednesday's home game with Swansea City.

elevision replays suggesed Derry was unfortunate to be dismissed after making minimal contact with Ashley Young, who was shown to be offside.

A penalty was awarded and Wayne Rooney netted from the spot, with United eventually winning the game 2-0.

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK. There are so many things wrong with this the mind fucking boggles. How can they study replays of it and not overturn the red? How can they be so ridiculously incompetent and still be in control of the game millions of people love?

Surprised ?

Any other outcome would have outed Ashley Young as a diver.

You Are Taking The Fucking Piss! How the fuck could anyone with any resemblance of sanity not see that for what it was?

Taking everything into account and especially the offside decision, then you can only come to one verdict, surely.

complete joke. They should award QPR compensation for the sheer incompetence of the decision. If it was a player from the scum, the FA would promise to never call a foul on thm again... hmm

If your QPR and you get relegated you have to wonder if it's even worth playing in the prem again if you are going to be so shamelessly sacrificed for the good of the scum team. It has much bigger consequences than any pundit will ever mention when laughing one of these decisions off, it is just shocking that teams put years and years of effort building and developing to get into the prem and when they finally arrive shit like this happens.

Bit like us this season really. We had strange decisions go against us until Mancini and Vieira made a point. After that, we seemed to get nothing for or against but United seemed to have everything go their way. I think this is what they mean by Swings and Roundabouts, United get the Swings and United get the Roundabouts. Nobody else is allowed to play in their park!

To be fair, The Chelsea decisions at the weekend were even more scandalous than Uniteds ones.

I really do not believe there is a pro United bias at the FA. They have to back their refs. No matter how shite they are.

What I do find interesting is Vieira gets slaughtered for pointing out the obvious by the media. The big clubs do get the big decisions against the smaller teams. This weekend once again goes to show how right he was.

At least Ivanovic has been charged for his kidney punch. If he'd got away with that then there would have been serious questions asked. I suppose it's small concellation in the big scheme of things.

Strange though, that they've taken this action which has not been death by 'Slow-mo' from Sky yet Evra's somehow escaped the net. Not a clue why?!?

Once the season finishes it would be good if someone could compile a youtube vid containing clips of everything that has gone their way this season. Its a fookin joke and so obvious it makes my blood boil.

I cant fooking believe its been rejected!! on what grounds?? he touched Young with his finger tips!!! To be honest, now our season is over, I hope they get more shit like this going for them so we have more of this cheating scandal we can throw back in our faces. Its surely getting to a point now where their own fans cant even deny the fact they have it all go their way.

It's total madness though...both decisions. Mario's was an assault.....Derry's was a brush of the arm.....what a fucking joke.

The game needs proper fourth officials with real time video evidence. The referee should be alerted, the game briefly paused and patently wrong calls should be redressed

Complete madness. Two things that need to stamped out of the game.

a) blatant cheating
b) assualt by mad men

Both given the thumbs up by the FA today.

Chelsea's pen against fulham wasn't a pen. Young dived and was offside and it wasn't a pen and Derry did fuck all to get a booking never mind a straight red. Yaya was booked for a shirt pull without a warning. Song gave away 3 free kicks (3 fouls in the refs eyes) and wasn't booked for any. Balo should of had about 6 yellows and 1 straight red.

3 games involving big teams. 3 games with really bad reffing.

So Balotelli gets a ban for a completely unproven 'foul' on Parker but a clear as day unquestionble assault on Song goes unpunished.

And the fact that they all think the league title challenge is over now & rags have it won, has no baring on this ?

Bent. As. Fuck.

Atkinson owned up and said he saw it.

Webb didn't own up in the Parker one.(i.e. he lied imo)

Just proves Webb is the more experienced ref.

And if Harry & Sir Alex had commented previous to the decision being taken, would Atkinson have 'seen it' then ?

It was so blatant, I think they all expected a ban and didn't kick up a fuss, allowing the red to be honest. Opinion was split even when he was charged after the Parker incident, hence why the pressure had to be applied
