Tattooing a symbol of a long-dead fascist dictator on your arm doesn't seem a great way of celebrating a forward thinking art movement like the futurism, wouldn't you say? My favourite futurist is probably Elmer Diktonius - one of Finland's finest. Splendid imagery, no to mention how he captures the rhythm of the factory floor in his verse.

Whilst trying to avoid politics, not sure Mussolini was racist as such. Think he had a Jewish girlfriend/mistress etc. He was just a bit right wing and didn't like people who disagreed with him, say a bit like Tony Blair. I suspect if he was running for president of the old US of A at the moment, he'd be accused of being a commie for being too left wing on most things.

That's Imperialism, not Racism. It's kinda like saying that British expansion in the world was fuelled by racist sentiments, whilst ignoring the whole economical and nationalistic aspects.

Also, just because you admire someone doesn't mean you automatically believe in their policies/ideals. I can imagine that in Italy, like other Mediterranean countries, views on race and politics are quite often entirely separate.
