Adebayor

Rumours on twitter that he's had a bust up with Redknapp and wont play again this season. Also apparently other players have had meetings about good old Harry. Their season is falling apart

Guy is a fucking moaning twat. That's why he was shipped off. Shame we can't get rid of him for good now.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Tbf I would have had a bust up with Harry well before now, what the bloke is doing is a fucking disgrace (yet again).

It doesn't excuse the Spurs players lack of form though, as they should all be just as desperate to be playing Champions Lg football next season, whoever the manager & should have more respect for their fans, even if they are leaving. Bale, in particular, looks like he's already left.

I really hope we sign bale in the summer. adebayor is a nightmare, and sorry to say it he's not a title contending kind of player. Liverpool would bite our hand off £10m I heard they going to look at strikers who actually shoot this summer???

Ok. Fair enough. I think it's unlikely.

He was available for cheapish all summer last summer yet no one bit. I'm starting to get the feeling Adebayor is one of those that whole football knows isn't worth the trouble.

off to Spurs for 6 million

Spurs seal £6m Adebayor deal as striker makes permanent move from Manchester City

Tottenham have finally agreed a deal with Manchester City over the permanent transfer of Emmanuel Adebayor.

Striker Adebayor, who spent last season on loan at White Hart Lane, returns to London in a £6million move.

The former Arsenal man is set to become Spurs' highest-paid player, although he will be taking a cut on the £160,000 a week he was on at City.
Adebayor had three and a half years with the Gunners before joining City for £25m in 2009.

But he fell down the pecking order when Mark Hughes was sacked and Roberto Mancini took over as boss.

The Togolese forward was sent on loan to Real Madrid on loan in January 2011 before joining Spurs last summer.

As a former Gunner, he won over the fans with 18 goals in all competitions.

Adebayor joins new recruits Jan Vertonghen and Gylfi Sigurdsson as Andre Villas-Boas shapes his squad for the start of the Premier League campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed an undisclosed fee to sign Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor, 28, scored 18 goals in 37 appearances during a loan spell at Spurs last season.

New manager Andre Villas-Boas confirmed his interest in the player on Thursday when he said: "We are extremely willing to have Adebayor on board with us."

The Togolese will become Tottenham's third summer signing after Jan Vertonghen and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Adebayor scored 46 goals in 105 appearances for Arsenal after Arsene Wenger bought him from Monaco in January 2006.

He moved to Manchester City for £25m in July 2009, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances.

After falling out of favour under manager Roberto Mancini, he joined La Liga side Real Madrid on loan in January 2011, but they chose not to make the move permanent.
