Aguero's 'Keep At It' Mentality

It was interesting in the Wolves game that Sergio had a few good chances before his goal eventually came but he never let his head go down or his work-rate drop.
I can think of at least 2 of our Strikers who's attitude after 3 or 4 misses would have been quite different. To see Aguero busting a gut to get beyond the defenders to receive Clichy's perfect pass after his early misfortune was a joy to behold.
Being talented isn't enough, you have to work hard and maintain a positive attitude to become a great player. I think Sergio has what it takes to become an all time City great.

He just needs to shoot more. Always seems to over think things when he has time but when he is on the spot and has to shoot it ends up in the back of the net.

I think the half chance he had mid second half summed him up for me. The long high ball that he just failed to bring down as he ran into the area. He was gutted that he'd not been able to control it and get a shot off....we were 2-0 up and he'd already scored.
He's got 100% the right mentality....fantastic player and like others have said, you get the feeling that when 100% fit (which it still seems that he's not quite) and after the experience of this season he should be terrifying next season.
What's he got now, 29 goals in all competitions this season? Who's the last striker who did that for us? Goater in an inferior league? Anelka got 20 plus for us I recall

Sergio thinks about a missed chance for a few seconds clears his head and gets on with things.
Absolute star he is,when a player can do this they can do anything.

How good was Clichy's pass ??......even on Talkspite, Adrian Durham was calling it "the pass of the season", which is really saying something.
Personally, I thought it was even better than that.

They (correctly) go on about some of Pardew's signings being brilliant, but for a club with City's spending power who has to pay a premium for everything, to get Clichy for that price has to be one of the signings of the season.

Somone mention Cabayes pass the other day as pass of the season. Ridiculous!
For me the pass of the season is David Silva Vs Scum.. Immense quality.

Mixed in with the glamour weve actually made some good priced buys.
Dale
Zabs
Kompany
AJ
And yes i know he was 16 millions but Nige has been a good value buy.

I personally think silvas instinctive inch perfect pass for dzeko in the demolition derby was better and kolarovs pacey swinging cross that was inch perfect for dzekos head was another

The bi-gamely rotation with him and Kolorov stopped a while ago and since then I think Clichy has got better and better.

This is definitely the main reason he has grown into the player he is for us. Some positions should not be tampered with unless completely neccessary.
More importantly, some players improve with a good run in the side. Tevez being a prime example. Clichy was a great signing.

I remember watching that live..great volley.
I'm sure that Aguero will start for Argentina now instead of being
their super sub. Diego Milito is irrelevant now, Higuain can partner him
and Tevez, if he makes it back into the team, can come off the bench.

The 2 are Edin and Mario and they will both probably not be here next year.
Sergio is only going to get better is what I keep reminding myself. We have a special player in #16. My wife wants to shine his ball bag which Im okay with, so long as he continues to score goals.
