How much for your derby ticket?

I find this story a little hard to believe, but it begs the question: how much would you ask in exchange for your ticket to Monday's match?
http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereveningnews/news/s/1492073_hot-ticket-1300-to-see-city-v-united-in-title-shootout-manchester-derbyPersonally, if someone offered me that amount of money, I'd snatch their hand off. Before reading the story I would probably have said £200.

hmmm...I think if someone offered me £2,000 cash for my ticket, i'd have to consider it, that's serious money for me.
on the other hand, i've missed one home game in a decade, could I forgive myself for not going win/lose or draw?

If someone pays for my season ticket next year they can have it ;-)

Quite right.
I once paid 500 quid for hatton mayweather, because it was a genuine once in a lifetime event. This, pah, we cant win the league on monday so if someone wanted to spend the money, they could happily have my ticket for the cost of next years season ticket, let alone the cost of the next 3
The qpr ticket though, is a quite different matter

Just a thought.
How much would it take for those of you with tickets to sell your ticket to a mune?

worse than that - my mate (also a season ticket holder) is looking after his brother's season ticket whilst he is out of circulation due to health issues
He said to me yesterday that he was going to take a good friend of us both - but a mune - as a treat - to which my answer was he can fuck rught off - treat a mune - 'FFS for free' - better treating a blue!!!!
In general though it is all relative - I guess deep down everyone has their price for their ticket (even though I could not even consider selling mine - there must I guess be a price??) - it is all a question of personal circumstances.
For me though - imagine being old enough and having the chance (I was / did) to go to Newcastle last time around or Gillingham and then not doing it - those days are just so special and will never happen again - I can remember them in detail now!!! Could you forgive yourself? I could not have missed those (mind you as a long term CITY fan - there have been many where I would gladly not have experienced the gut-wrenching disappointment!! - David fucking Pleat's jig anyone!!)

I can't put a price on it. Was sayin to a mate before that I'd struggle to even accept a couple of grand.
Pm me with offers and we will see hahaa.
This game is what footy is all about, so lucky to have a season ticket in the first place.

Must be some well off people on here if they're ready to turn down a couple of grand for a ticket to a football match.

I was offered £1500 for my tickets to the 1999 Play Off Final.
With 85 minuted gone I was really regretting turning it down, in the end it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Ridiculous amounts of cash being banded about in the press.
Wouldn't sell mine .......... or would I?

All well and good saying you wouldn't till the cash is whacked on the table in front of you and its the equivalent of your next 3 season tickets or a family holiday.
I would be amazed if anyone turned it down
Although......no, I would not sell to a rag, but only because i'd probably lose my season ticket over it and it could cause a safety issue for the rag and the people around him.

I'd definitely sell to a rag, in fact, at the prices they're quoting, I'd feel guilty selling it to a blue. Plus I know how big the guy who sits next to me is, so the rag would have to cheer every one of our goals like his life depended on it.

i am in dire financial straits right now and on an internet forum i'll tell you i wouldn't sell mine for £1000. being offered the cash outside the ground tho, well lets just say i hope i don't find out what i'd do (kind of!)
if i took the money, i would walk away from the ground kind of happy, but also wishing i was in there. where as the other way round i don't think will bother me.

If i had a ticket there is no amount of money would tempt me to sell it.It's my wedding anniversary today and what with being out of work and the mortgage due i am potless at the mo so i just about got the Mrs a card but if i had a ticket to the game she would still only have a card.
