I know it's fucking daft, but I can't help but be supersticious and look for omens etc.
I have a list of them built over the years and forever looking for omens. The latest is that since my nephew was born (I refuse to call him by his real name and call him bluemoon) we've won our last 3 games... So I've told my sis to make sure she has him sat in front of the TV tonight!
In an effort to kill some time, What superstitions and omens you guys got?

Go all out by my accounts and stick your hand up it, if that means we win me old china :)
This is post 9999, so 10000 should hopefully be monumentous (Inshallah). Come on City. Enjoy wherever you watch it people. Who would have thought we'd even have days like this not so long ago! Enjoy and remember there's plenty more to come.

Post #9999 - I suspect Bluemoon will be silent until after the match. What a glorious post that could very well be. Well done BM I hope it is the best one ever.

Strangely the last two times I wore my home shirt we got beat and haven't been beat when I wear my away top, I have to admit to always wearing my away top and I just tried the home top as an experiment. What realy bothers me is that I wore it the second time, I felt responsible for Sunderland. Tonight I am obviously going to wear the away top, my Missus reckons I am deranged and she has asked to wear the home top tonight....hmmm

Always wear a home shirt to home games and away shirt to away games. I don't have lucky boxer shorts, but I think I have unlucky boxer shorts which when I've worn, we have lost so I no longer wear these on match days. Oh, and I always give myself a new piece of chewing gum at the start of each half, but not when I watch on tv.

Never try to play the game on Pro Evo/Fifa the day before - we always lose.
When I was playing, I always had to be the last player from my side on the pitch. Did complicate things when I was captain.

I always wear my laser blue socks on matchday, and to my absolute horror a hole developed in one of them today. I have sent the wife out to try to find a new pair before kickoff.

Don't worry cause they'll start following blue very soon cause that's where all the silver will be....
