Most seem to think we're the better side, have played the better football and deserve the title. I really expected much more vitriol than I've seen.

I think they know we fucked up to give them a chance, and deep down for all the bluster, if you speak to a rag who can get past throwing one line insults or repeating song lines theyve heard on the telly, the rest pf them have been pretty magnanimous and can see that their side is definately punching above its weight.
What's interesting for me now, are the suggestions that they need to go out and spend 100m. Would that be a spending spree, or would that then be okay now that we have already ruined football. My concern is that there really could be no value in the market this summer....although i am starting to think we may have our business wrapped up already.

yes I noted that. Like 100m is a tenner sort of thing. double standards once again, but its amusing now. It will be interesting where they find this money, or perhaps newscorp will lend it to them, interest free, so they can finally all wank each other off and buy sneijder

A 100 mil is about a weeks interest on their debt, isn'y it?

Probably is, and in a fair and balanced world "Financial fair play" should be in place to stop them spending money that isnt theirs. But we all know that isnt the case. They can carry on being a financial basket case because they sell lots of shirts in malaysia. A few years of not winning will soon test this particular financial model. Will be nearly as interesting to watch as the actual football

I have often flagged up where I think football is going on a global scale, Platini in the big chair at FIFA and Dr Evil Rumminigge into the smaller chair atUeFA, sat behind him. The deal is that KHR will have his hand up Platini's jacket and will be working him and his every move.
The old G14 is very much alive and kicking and with extra power via the ECA. The already work Platini and there is little he can do about it. They will continue to work Platini and as now, have the dominant number of people on the FIFA policy committees. They and their cronies will effectively control Global football, it policies and mostimportantly...it finances.
The rags will have their slice, so big that their debt will be crumbs and paid off with plenty to spare to buy who they want and gragthe Glazers' failing other businesses back into the black.
Yet for some reason, no other fucler seems to be interested. This is the game that you will hope to hold dear in the future, long after I have popped my footie boots...and noone gives a toss.....
Amazed of Manchester.

The Glazers know how to milk the club properly, they won't see a need to re-invest cos the club failed to win the league, they would only be concerned about a failure to qualify for the champions league, which produces a significant portion of their revenue. They'll keep giving Taggart his £25m a year to buy a player and keep the masses happy with the idea that there moving forward.
It amazes me how they've borrowed £500m+ to buy the club, taken an additional £500m+ out of the club to pay for it and the outstanding loan is still in the £400m+ range. Reminds me of the one of opening scenes of Ghostbusters when they mortgage Ray's family home 3 times over and Igor tells them that they need $300,000 just to meet the interest payments.

Aw. I care John.
And I know you are something like close to the truth.
