Pardew

I thought after yesterday's game he was very fair minded in his assessment of how things went.

His team gave everything for him so he must have been disappointed, especially as Newcastle's hopes of a Champions' League place were jeopardised by that defeat, but he quite graciously said that City were brilliant.

Compare his attitude with that of the snivelling drunk from the Swamp and there's no comparison at all.

Fair play to him.

I would say just the opposite to that bit. His team gave everything so he would be pleased.

Otherwise I agree with everything else you say.

Certain managers like to lie to make themselves look better, not realising that they just show themselves up for the dour, cowardly Scottish twats they are.

Pardew has played a clever game this season. He has played down expectation and his limited success has appeared better than it really has been. Without the dramatic scoring record of Cisse, they would be sat mid table.
From where he started with the depth of feeling about Mike Ashley and all the shit flying around, he's done well.

Ouch, Tokyo !!

Thank you for picking me up with regard to my lazy English. I should have said ".....so he must have been disappointed to lose that game."

Won't make the same mistake again in a hurry.

Cisse has been a great success and has given them that extra push for the second half of the season (isnt that what January signings are supposed to do?) but over the 2 games ive seen of them against us, they are certainly a better outfit than than all outside of the top 6 and they deserve to be mixing it with Spurs and Chelsea.

He took the major disappointment with dignity imo. Well done to him for that, it would've been so easy for him to start making excuses etc. I hope they somehow get the chumps lge place.

Agree.

Pardew has done well. His problem now is to do it again next season or he could end up a victim of expectations built up by his own success this season.

If he can keep all his best players and add one or 2 more then I think they will be there again next year around the top 7.

Usually though when teams rise quickly like they have, once one cog is taken out, the whole things comes tumbling down.

I agreethat Pardew has got them playing well above expectations and they have some fine players and agree totally that he should get the credit for buying Cisse. Looking at Cisse's scoring record and the number of crucial game winning goals he has scored, without him, they would be well out of this race.
