Superstition Update

Postby dazby » Thu May 10, 2012 12:15 pm

How are we going with these?

I'm in the unfortunate position that our good form has coincided with me not wearing a kit. I can wear a scarf, my City jacket but no kit. grrr.

The Gorton St Marks t-shit is my superstition. Wore it at Wembley for the semi and final last season, wore it for the derbies in October and April this season, wore it last Sunday so it will be on my back again come Sunday and the big day.

costing me a fortune - found a good deal on a Heathrow to Ringway flight for the west brom game - so I thought it might be a lucky omen and flew again for the derby - well that worked so I flew up to Newcastle - and that worked so...............

Fuck me I could get a lift in my mate's car - but I am deep down superstitious and could not forgive myself....... – unfortunately the cheap seats seem to have been a one-off - not told the wife that though
