Just to advise that if City are crowned champs this will take place on Monday 14th. Dont know what time yet though.

I would have thought its too quick after the game. I reckon it would be midweek. Lets get it in the bag and think about parades after

They know the trophy is coming to Manchester whatever happens - so maybe it's locked up safely somewhere in the city already.

Fucking stupid to have it on a weekday afternoon. Only fans in the city center/route can realistically see the parade. The rest of us cant get holidays booked off work at such short notice.

Really fucking annoying.

Doesn't leave enough time for everybody to arrange stuff, neither City fans nor workers, businesses etc, who will be inconvenienced. Seeing as the trophy isn't even won yet, the earliest they could announce it would be Sunday evening.

It would prob be tea time ish on the Monday tho like the FA cup parade. It does mean they won't be able to do the ticket thing in the ground like last time tho.

I heard something similar the other day.Monday if it's City Wednesday if it's the scum. As I going away on Tuesday I hope its right :)

I'm under the impression that the council does not want thousands and thousands of people converging on Manchester on mass hence giving as little notice as possible. They don't have any money and I don't imagine MCFC would foot the whole bill but I could be wrong. I'm the same as anyone, annoyed about this. I'm due to go on my hen do for my mate tomo and not back until Monday at 9pm, so that would mean missing the biggest game and a parade. Lucky for me iv booked a flight back Sunday morning.

Haha, you know me to well. I actually heard it first from another copper but called her and she confirmed. She was actually gutted at missing out on over time as she is already working.
