Just thinking, I aint been to Forest for years and years. Always liked the day out there and fancied our chances.
Haven't been to Sheff Wed for time either.
Anywhere that anybody misses an away day at? Maybe you have family in Shrewsbury or Huddersfield. Or perhaps you know a good pie shop at Bradford.

Definitely both Sheffield clubs but also Turf Moor, Deepdale and Prenton Park.
I used to go to a lot of away games, including every derby, but owing to a lack of funds recently I've not been to one since the 2-2 draw at Liverpool in 09/10.

Another away day I love is Lincoln. I've been there twice. Lovely little place and the Sincil Bank is quirky as shit. Worst ever: Bloomfield Road (but I've not been since the redevelopment).

Those wooden seats are comfy as, though, and we have a habit of absolutely dicking them.
I sat on a wooden seat in the home end at Oldham when we won there 3-1 and Kinky scored a cheeky little chip. I don't think that stand even exists anymore.

I don't miss individual grounds so much as being able to stand up when visiting grounds in general.
From that point of view, West Brom was great when it had two standing ends & 10,000 blues in there.

One burned down last year, another one blew down the other week - poor cunts only have two working stands left so unlikely

Maine Road is the obvious one.
I live less than a mile from Deepdale but not been for a few years now - always had a good laugh there when I couldnt get to City, and some good times there WITH City too.
Going to miss Blackburn next year for sure.

I miss the old Huddersfield stadium, it was the first English stadium I visited (Berlin's current stadium being my first ever). I got lucky when I was a kid, I almost got taken to see a Leeds home game but it was snowed off (talk about a narrow escape).

We lost 2-1. That was my first ever City match. I think I went to that game, a cup match and Oldham home that season.
Really want to visit Craven Cottage next season. If City isn't do-able, I might go as a neutral.
I worked out a month or so ago that about half the grounds I've visited in the UK are now demolished or abandoned. I was quite shocked when I realised.

Did we? Not surprising, I suppose. We went down that season. I don't normally misremember scorelines. Scorelines or Kevin Keegan adverts.

Why Elland Rd ? You must have met a woman there or something.
Always hated the ground and the fans have always been abysmal, this going back to the mid 70's
when went there as a 8 yr old and we got back to our coach after the game and nearly ever window had been
smashed. We then had to wait 2 hours for a replacement coach.

Wrong again. We went down the season after. Oldham went down that season, though...

Haha. Well my memories are all over the place with this then. I also thought I remember us wearing this kit that day, but we can't have done.

I fucking loved that shirt. I insisted on wearing it for a year or two after we ditched it, even though I'd grown out of it by then.
EDIT: I've just seen that we won 3-0 there in 1998/99. I went to that as well, so I'm probably mixing the two games up. I suppose we may have worn that kit that day too, but Kinky will have been gone.
