Why always us?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Why always us?

Postby ronk » Sun May 13, 2012 6:03 pm

Is there a reason?

That's the beauty of City. Never do it the easy way.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I admitt it, Ronk.
I've been followed City for ages, as a sympathizer at first and as an increasingly mad fan later on, but I always felt "Typical City" a negative, slightly disturbing, mind frame.

Today, my mind went ***officially*** and extremely close to join the club, because this is a completely different era from the "Alan Ball, Steve Coppell and Frank Clark" twistings, but yet the jinx seems to be always ready to knock the door.

Surreal

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

"Typical city" is bout incredible highs as well as lows! Unlikely comebacks like the 4-3 at Spurs in the cup and the play off final and unlikely wins in moderate seasons 4-1s,5-1s and 3-1s over the rags spring to mind. It isn't just about fucking up sometimes, it is about the unexpected happening to us more often and more dramticallythan other clubs. It is part ofour make up and is still happening, just on a very different level at the moment...
