One of my workmates directed me to West Ham's site KUMB. Some great comments:
http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=140622Thank you West Ham fans. Any more from elsewhere?
With a tear in my eye and throat on fire, I will never forget yesterday just like when Dickov scored THAT equaliser. :D

There seems to be a lot of affinity both ways with us and West Ham - really hope they make it back up next week.

Its interesting to see peoples perception of what has happened at city by those who take their views from the newspapers. Its also remarkable how many stupid people there are on the internet, commenting on our financial position despite west ham being the biggest transfer fee payers and wage spenders in their division.
But, glad to see that despite the big monster that is city ruining football, the fans are acknowledged. I think we have always shared an affinity for west ham since the incidents mentioned within that thread. But words of warning there too about the future direction of citys support not becoming arrogant

We've always had people visiting KUMB (Second best football fan site out there) and vice versa.
Edit. And as cheeky as this is, I found myself laughing!
Congrats to the Man City fans that have not seen their team when the Premier League since they were Chelsea fans.

Well it would be slightly funny if it were in any way true. But we've all been through thin and thinner together.

Surprisingly i've seen a very positive reaction from all other fans. Even fans that I know have said hate us cos of our money etc couldn't help but enjoy it by the looks of their twitter.

I had a few discussions with neutrals in the pubs last night
one guy, who has seen a fair share of football games in his life, claimed he had never seen a game like that and he never had seen such an explosion of joy after the final whistle
somebody else said he was happy city won the title because otherwise it would be united again and united are a bunch of arrogant twats, he said basically
well anyone can see that really
overall the reactions of people I talked too were fairly positive

Special praise should go to Sunderland supporters. There are three RAR files which can be downloaded via A CERTAIN OTHER CITY FANSITE, and within them (amongst worldwide TV coverage highlights) are three videos made on mobiles at the Stadium of Light. There is a good deal of goodwill towards City out there, but as others have said we must not become arrogant. Not that you would believe that goodwill existed if you tuned into Radio 2 this morning, where some woman was making a point of reading out the most bitter texts and emails she could find.
She probably smokes a pipe.

I watched the game in a pub in Cambridge - one room was full of QPR fans. Obviously for most of the match they were supporting QPR but as soon as they found out that they were safe they all started shouting for City. There again this is probably because the local rags are totally obnoxious even for rags - the whole pub erupted when we scored the winner even though there were only 3 of us City fans who couldn't make the game.

The reaction from the neutrals has been superb IMO, I just saw an interview with a west indies cricketer, said he's an arsenal fan but when we scored the whole bus went crazy like they'd won a test. He also said they were giving it to all the scum fans lol.
I'm loving today!

At a wedding all day yesterday and the west ham fans were in the majority (me a lone blue) they were celebrating like they had won the league fair play to them ! The rags there didn't know what to do - one arrogant southern fan and one southern rag season ticket holder who took it really well saying over the season we deserved to be clear winners not just on goal difference! It seems like a popular win

Do you live down there? I used to go to the Aviator in St. Ives when I was a student- full of City fans.

I'm a Coventry City fan, (so I know about suffering), and as a fully paid up member of the ABU supporters clus was really looking forward to seeing Man City wrap up the title yesterday. I have to tell you, when QPR scored their second goal I felt physically sick, and judging by the number of texts I was getting from relatives/friends, there were plenty of other people feeling that way. I watched the game up to the 88th minute and gave up, I went to run a bath and was contemplating avoiding all newspapers and tv programme and Talk Idiot Radio for months and months. Whilst the bath was filling up I went into the bedroom and saw that I had several text messages, voice mails all telling me the good news. It was just incredible, genuinely unbelievable stuff, which even when I saw it for myself stilll seemed unreal. The goal by Aguero was just outstanding. Man City have made a lot of footie fans very, very happy, the look on Red Nose and Shrek's face was just priceless, as was the look on the faces of those Manure fans at the Stadium of Light.

That is really good.......i know in the years to come we will probably be equally as despised, but that, without any theatrics at all just goes to show how much the munes really are disliked in all quarters by genuine football fans
