Agent is claiming he's leaving Inter.

I thought he was head and shoulders Brazil's best player a few years ago but haven't taken much notice of him recently.

34 years old so obviously will lack pace but a big fucking unit, great in the air and great feet.

Could he fit the bill as the spare CB we need or have his legs gone ?

No, but Savic is young & shit. We don't want someone old and shit.

A few years ago I thought Lucio was amongst the best & at 34 he'll be relatively cheap, plus not so desperate to play every single game.

If he's still decent, we could cover our immediate problem & then we have time to find out if Savic, Boyata, Rekik etc can force their way into contention.

I saw him in the derby with Milan two weeks ago and he looked mediocre. To be fair to him, all Inter's squad has been shit this season. From what i've seen, he was their best defender this season, but i haven't paid much attention of what they were doing. I rather have him, than Chivu, a player who Bobby knows very good.

have watched him several times this season. imo, he's lost a half step in pace, and his best years are well behind him. still a tough fucker though.

BFU indeed, but goes down like a bitch. Seriosuly, he makes Robben look manly.

I wouldn't be against it if he was to provide cover behind Lescott, Kompany and Toure and challenge Boyata and/or Rekik. However I'm kind of hoping for a young CB who would challenge Lescott and push Toure as fourth CB. I'm pretty sure this next season will be last for Kolo with us anyway. He is good player but already 31 and not really quite good enough for what we are trying to achieve.

Tbf I've not really factored Kolo into the equation, thinking he would leave for PSG, but if he did stay I'd be happy to keep him. I think he was starting to look decent later in the season & was unlucky that Bob had decided to stop rotating in the final run-in or may have got a game or two under normal circumstances.
