Hazard
Martinez
and...
either RvP or Cavani, if the Club decide to offload Herman

and City is up for EVERYTHING.

hopefully writing off the books at least: Ade, Croque, Bridge and Savic.
Chiellini is deadmeat, pls don't.

Hi Mancio,

I've always liked Chiellini but, from your comment, has his form dipped or is he no longer the player he was ?? Can you enlarge on what has happened to him ??

If we signed bale, hazard, Martinez and Cavani I think we would need to start on -20 points with -50 GD just to make it fair.

Shit would be ridiculous.

Would be very happy to see bridge, Santa cruz (WHO?), ade and the rest of the useless cunts cluttering up the wage bill gone. Probably as important as any new signings.

Mikhail Mate,
I must hold my hands in advance, because I was born anti-Juventus biased.
still Chiellini is definitelly getting older and slower, and more importantly I can easily envisage what misery he might come out when/if not protected by a referee affected by black&white vertical stripes astigmatism. Pls imagine Wio with a Wigan kit and then multiply by five.

Mancio, my friend, I'll have to bow to your superior knowledge and assessment of Chiellini, although if he's now going downhill as a player, it's rather sad as he's only about 27 or 28 years old and he should be coming into his prime - he must have had a hard childhood.

With regard to your distaste for Juventus, I can well understand how you feel. In 1995 we were staying in Jessolo and Juventus had just won Serie A. I went into a shop and got chatting about football, in my "pigeon-Italian", with the owner who seemed in good spirits and, whilst praising Juventus, he went on to tell me his father had played for them. Thinking he was a pretty genuine football fan and thinking I was coping OK with the language and making a decent attempt at conversation, I casually let it drop that I liked Fiorentina. At this, the owner's face froze immediately and he just turned round and walked off, at which I deemed the conversation to be over.

Ever since that episode, I've had a lingering, totally irrational dislike for Juventus, so I can sympathise with you.

You might need to add on Thiago Silva to that list.

An Italian journo has tweeted "Man City through Mancini asked Thiago Silva to Milan. Milan made the price 50m Euros"

"So far Milan havent included Tevez in the deal with Thiago Silva, but asked for Kolarov on loan"

As I said...Might!

@tancredipalmeri

Any of our Italian chums know if he is at all reliable?

Santa Cruz and Bridge must be the 2 stupidest signings in history. Santa Cruz had had only one clear season between years of sick notes before we spunked £17m on him. And Bridge turned out to be just a lazy, complacent grabber. Wtf was Hughes thinking of? Get fookin rid.

Bridge at the time was needed as we had really struggled at left back. Michael tarnats free kicks were special though.

Mikhail Pal, You don't have nor You shouldn't bow to a knowledge that I guess ain't superior than Yours. I must recall that along last decade I followed EPL closer than Seria A: I ultimately held up my hands in despair when the dust has settled over the last major fixing scandal orchestrated by the then Juventus general manager Moggi and the usual suspects were still riding the game, just a little while after a freak cleaning show "pour épater la bourgeoisie" (as the poet would say).
I always found Chiellini overrated, a slightly above average defender, far from the different league of the former great italian defenders like Maldini, Nesta or F. Cannavaro. Imho, his presumed pace would be overshadowed in the Prem and he would result no better than a Nedum with a little wider knowledge of italian defensive tactics. You can get better...

Re. the hatered of Juventus: thankfully this is (the best) City Forum, so that I'd not like to bother everyone.
It's just worth recalling that they not only have been cheated the league for almost a century (unlike U***d who have presumably done it for last 20 yrs), but they have been done it also buying players with the huge profits saved by FIAT (holding Corp.) through the practice of offloading the "redundant" workmen to Social Security. as I told I am very biased...

p.s.: if You'll plan any further vacation to Italy, pls PM me. I'll be pleased to suggest even more amazing destinations that the lovely Jesolo... :-)

Dunno Mate. never heard of him before. he appears to be a freelance contributor for "La Gazzetta dello Sport" (website only) and CNN.
The news have been reported by ANSA (Italian National Press Agency) while yesterday La Gazzetta dello Sport, presumably the same author, linked Thiago Silva with a swap to Barca.
I'd guess... bullox.

as it stands - hazard gone, Javi Martinez strongly committed himself to Bilbao (once again) and Iker Muniain needing at least a further season to be prepared for top stages and pressure - I really hope we stay put.
just get the most promising young CB highlighted by Euro/Olympics showcases to replace Savic.

Couldnt see yesterday Euro game but it seems that RVP once again failed to make the difference when the goings get tough: once again keep Edin and develop him further.
and give AJ the last chance to step up while waiting for Muniain.
I really hope the Club shall focus very carefully on not being overtaken for Muniain.

I've not heard many rumours of us being in for Muniain though. Have you ? I would like to think we are in for him, even as a future possible signing but I've heard nothing.

There was a small rumour on the net of Jovetic the other day. He was one of the best young players I've ever seen before his injury & looked very very special in a kind of free role but I've lost track of him recently. Have you watched him recently?

Whatever, my priority now, to give us something different, would be Bale to feed Dzeko.
